What best classifies you or your business?
established business (1-3 years)

What industry is your business in?
Marketing and Advertising
For most of my career I have marketed very technologically-savvy marketing publications and websites read by high-level corporate executives, (1to1, Chief Marketer, Direct, Multichannel Merchant, PROMO, Folio: to name a few). So I've always needed to be on the cutting edge of practicing the ideas and trends they reported. I have award-winning experience in creating integrated marketing campaigns and am proficient at employing a variety of media across channels from the latest to the traditional.

Additionally, a few years ago I started a Mary Kay business. What started as a hobby, soon became a primary business as I have put into practice some of the larger lessions from the "big boys" on a practical scale of my own micro-business. I recognize the relationship value and bottom-line importance of the customer – whether it’s the client, or the client’s customer – and strategize from that point of view.

Great Customer Service Isn’t a Philosophy -- It’s a Strategy.

A winning customer strategy will be the key for weathering this economic storm. As people are tightening their belts—of all times when this holiday season is upon us—you must take time to plan your customer strategy to keep your clients loyal, grow their business, and in the best case scenario, have them refer business to you.

Research from Gartner, a leading CRM research firm, shows that it costs six times more to attract a new cus… Continue

PitBull or Pig, Either Way, the "Lipstick" is Mary Kay!

My sources close to the candidate (I've always wanted to say something like that) confirm that Sarah Palin is a Mary Kay customer and has been for years! It delights me to no end that all this talk about "lipstick" today points to what I think is Mary Kay's "Shell" lipstick with "Cream & Sugar" Neuroshine Lipgloss. My source is another consultant whose director is a Power Partner to Sarah's consultant, so I trust the source.

No matter your political affiliation, she is a pretty woman, and w… Continue

Have You Met ROS?

- I Cordially Invite You To-

Have you ever had a business meeting at fine restaurant? Have you ever been involved in social gathering that involved food, wine and cocktails? I would venture to say you have enjoyed such an experience.

Regardless the event, be it fundraiser, networking or business dinner your culinary knowledge of foods, wines and cocktails can become the ice breaker to opening new relationships at these events. It’s the common ground we seek to open a conversation and be able to introduce ourselves. It’s a warm, soft non-offensive introduction.

I would like to share with you a new social community where you can gather this culinary knowledge, expand your network and have fun all at the same time. Meet and chat with Chefs, learn from top bartenders how to mix the perfect cocktail, listen to the wine experts review new and old wines, etc. etc.

So come join me at ROS, and help build our wonderful new community.

Cheers,
Allen

If you place your cursor on the bottom of the ROS badge below, the word Join will light up, if you click it – it will take you to the ROS sign-up page, thank you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
