If you feel flustered with your social networking skills don't be too hard on yourself. This is a new genre for almost all of us too.
In order to help you get up to speed with all this web 2.0 stuff I have a free resource I'd like to give you right now.
The Social Marketing Directory is a Master Resource List - with three categories of social (Web 2.0) sites that you can use to
create your very own streams of highly targeted traffic/subscribers/sales for your websites and affiliate links.
I'm giving it away for free because it is the 2008 version and am in the process of putting the 2009 version together. So instead of deleting the older version in to cyberspace I thought you may enjoy it as a special gift from me to you.

This is being done to cut down on SPAM in this group.

Posts on the main page and in the discussions must have Twitter IDs and be relevant to Twitter. Introducing yourself and your business is of course what Sta.rtUp.biz is all about, but this is not the place for the famous "long Sales Letter."
Most of the members will follow you on Twitter if you follow them, this builds a relationship. They will probably go to your page, and you know every time you post there's a link to that. Many will then investigate your web site too. This is an inquisitive and friendly group.
