Businesses using the internet. Opportunities Online and depending on the venture, often have lesser costs and risks involved when compared with traditional businesses.

- Thanks for writing back Doug...like your style, could not agree more! I have seen ijango, I know they are different but have also seen some other web/shopping portal mlms...I know this is much more though. In any case, I have seen the simplest comp plan I have come across in my 20 years of being in this industry...that is what I am spending time on. Even simpler than ijango, but the bottom line is we all have to find a passion and immerse in it. The people, marketing and comp plan have created a paradigm shift in this industry - over 50,000 in four months have paid in (and the pay in is for product, not start up) so that says a lot.

If you feel flustered with your social networking skills don’t be too hard on yourself. This is a new genre for almost all of us too.
Best thing you can do is just dive in and start communicating with others.
My own success online has come from my posting so many blogs and discussions here on Sta.rtup.biz. I also spend ALOT of time posting messages on members’ pages as well.
Every time I do I try to share helpful non sales related info prospects can sink their teeth into. By doing so I establish my credibility and expertise all in one swoop. After that people flock to whatever link I am promoting.

I'm a young 58 with an independent streak that suits me very well for self-employment. I have been a real estate appraiser for the past 20 years and a full-time realtor for 10 before that. Married for 32 years, 2 grown kids. I was looking for retirement income, and now I have it. Now I want to share the magic of leveraged residual income and the power of using the tax code advantageously. In my opinion, EVERY employee should have a home business of some kind.
I majored in getting through college with a minor in beer. Wanted to coach, but didn't have the patience (or the interest) to teach. This might tell you why: Major in Speech, Minor in Political Science. Reason: didn't have to take any math or foreign language. I graduated in 4 years and never once had to write a term paper. Wasted youth, but a ton of fun. Now I'm preparing for semi-retirement and I want to help others position themselves to do the same.
We are in a new global economy that is eroding our middle-class, so we have to prepare for that and protect ourselves economically. I have some ideas concerning how to do that and I want to share them.
