My profession is sales and marketing. I work as a Consultant and CEO in my own company.

I have been working in sales and marketing since 1976. I attended the School of Commerce in my country. Have attended several seminars for the last two decades in sales and marketing, with many highly advanced professionals in the field of sales and marketing, both domestic and foreign.

Among those are Brian Tracy, Anthony Robbins (May 2005 in London), Dennis Kimbro (Think and grow rich) and many more.

Work experience:

Retail selling, Sales and Marketing Manager for one of the largest bakeries in my country.

Sales representative for the Toyota dealer in Iceland.

Sales representative for the first privetly owned TV station in Iceland (Channel 2). PR work for the TV shows at the same TV station.

Administrator and manager of a sales campaign for getting more subscribers for Channel 2. Was a great success, incl. telemarketing, TV commercials and lots more.

Marketing manager for a Nutrition company selling Nutritional products. Marketing Manager of a printery.

Consultant to the largest producer of fresh juice in Iceland regarding ways to increase sales.

Marketing manager of a Business and language school.

Marketing manager of a leading Chocolate factory in Iceland.

Sales and marketing consultant for the largest retail and wholesale manufacturer of technical outdoor clothing (66North).

1994 I produced the first Sales seminar on VHS that was in icelandic. It was my private enterprise in cooperation with a firm which specialized in production of VHS seminars.

I am a tutor of a Sales seminar which I have held for many different companies.
I have trained people in retail, wholesale, the travel industry (including hotel staff) and many more.

Sales manager of the accessories and supply department of a Computer retail.

Consultant for an Insurance Broker.

My main hobby is sailing a Yacht. Me and a few friends do a lot of sailing in the summer time. We have got several trophies and medallions for success in different competitions for the last 8 - 9 years. I like taking photographs.

I have an interest in spiritual matters. I Have experienced a lot of positive things in the spiritual area.

My purpose in being a member of Start Up Biz is to connect with people from all over the world who have have similar interests and ideas.
