I am co-founder of servana.com, a new social networking community offering solo entrepreneurs and small businesses a forum to offer and promote their services online. Servana's more than a website though, it's a movement of like-minded individuals who believe in self reliance and entrepreneurialship and want to come together with others who share the same goals and aspirations of working for themselves and creating and developing a thriving business. Servana's mission is to offer a platform to create an environment where this is possible. We help you to help each other succeed and when you succeed, Servana succeeds.

Servana was started by entreprenuers who were tired of having their lives sucked out of them working for corporations. Besides with the unemployement rate being the highest its been since 1945, job security, one of the most popular excuses for staying at a current job, is an illusion. We knew there was a better way to live. But there wasn't a support system to make it possible. We created Servana to change that. Most people share a common desire to be entrepreneurs (7 out of 10 people in the US when surveyed said they would prefer to work for themselves) But less than 20% of people actually work for themselves due to obstacles and roadblocks that make it seem too difficult to get started. Few are up for the challenge.

Most people who do start their own business have come to the realization that instead of working for someone else they could be using their talent or skill to start their own business and reap the benefits for themselves. Enter the entreprenuer! Now what?

It's not easy to start and run your own business. The failure rate is dire. There are major challenges to overcome in creating a successful business. How are you going to market your business and find customers? How will you manage and grow your business? How are you even going to get started? It can be overwhelming to say the least.

We started Servana with the small business owner/solo entrepreneur/corporate slave who dreams of freeing themself in mind. Servana's a forum and community where anyone can start a new business or grow an existing business. Members can create a powerful and most importantly effective web presence on Servana dedicated to their business in less than an hour, without even knowing HTML. Members connect with other members to form powerful referral networks which drive business to each other. Afterall, as the old saying goes, what goes around, comes around. We also offer training to keep members up to date on all the latest marketing trends so they can learn how to better promote their business.

We endeavor to give businesses the tools they need to make them successful. We're listening to the needs of our members and adding new benefits all the time. So if you don't like something or have a suggestion of what to improve, let us know! Servana is a community driven by it's members.
