My passion is good design. Balance and proportion and color in visual art. Rhythm in the written word. I may not be a painter, a sculptor, or an illustrator, but I am an artist.

When I was 16, I was told I could never make a living as an artist. I, liking a challenge, set out to prove that person wrong.

I started college when I had barely turned 17 and got my Associates degree in Visual Communications by the time I was 19 and most of my friends were graduating high school. I worked at a small print shop for a while, and then later began freelancing. As the design field turned digital, I returned for my Bachelors in Multimedia Design.

Then my clients started asking "Do you know how to do this, or that?" Again, never one to back down from a challenge, I expanded my skills, so that I could say "Yes, I can do that!" If I didn't know it, I learned it. Or I found someone who could.

So to that person who challenged my dreams when I was only 16... Here I am 17 years later, achieving my dream, and dreaming of the future.

I have successfully owned and operated grayCeWORKS small business solutions, a computer, business services, and graphic design consultancy company, since 1998.
