Search Strategies: Paid vs Organic

If you are like most people, you just want your website to be found. With 95% of the web-using world admitting to using search engines, that seems like a great place to start. But then you begin reading up on it and it is enough to make your head spin - where do you start? That is where a solid Search Engine Optimization (often abbreviated to "SEO") strategy comes into play. As you've probably heard by now, the Internet is no longer an "if you build it, they will come" type of place. Your online…See More

How much website do I need?

When I was growing up, Girbaud Jeans were all the rage. Everyone was wearing them and you couldn't be "cool" without them. The problem was, they only fit girls who were built like a 2x4 - no hips or stomach or tush. I was not this girl. I was curvy and the jeans looked awful on me and were extremely uncomfortable. I had two choices - follow the crowd or look my own personal best.I see this "keeping up with the Jones'" mentality on a daily basis in the web world. People see their neighbors…See More

Getting Started: Finding Keywords

Everyone who has used a search engine is familiar with the concept of keywords. Keywords are the words you type into Google’s search box that describes what you are looking for during a search. It seems simple when you use it, but what you don't see is what went into making those websites appear for the exact term you typed in. Think about how many websites exist out in the World Wide Web and then ponder how those elite 10 websites made it to the first page of your search results. I'll let you… Continue

Have You Met ROS?

- I Cordially Invite You To-

Have you ever had a business meeting at fine restaurant? Have you ever been involved in social gathering that involved food, wine and cocktails? I would venture to say you have enjoyed such an experience.

Regardless the event, be it fundraiser, networking or business dinner your culinary knowledge of foods, wines and cocktails can become the ice breaker to opening new relationships at these events. It’s the common ground we seek to open a conversation and be able to introduce ourselves. It’s a warm, soft non-offensive introduction.

I would like to share with you a new social community where you can gather this culinary knowledge, expand your network and have fun all at the same time. Meet and chat with Chefs, learn from top bartenders how to mix the perfect cocktail, listen to the wine experts review new and old wines, etc. etc.

So come join me at ROS, and help build our wonderful new community.

Cheers,
Allen

If you place your cursor on the bottom of the ROS badge below, the word Join will light up, if you click it – it will take you to the ROS sign-up page, thank you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Hi Jennifer,

Wonderful! Your skills are invaluable here. There are so many that could use your guidance. If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend you read Social Networking Customer Acquisition 101. It outlines the only proven process for turning friends and contacts on social networks into customers.

Let me know if you have any questions. I have plenty more tips, too.

Hi Jennifer

I have found this to be a great networking site, for the vast majority of members are both sincere and genuine in wanting to help you succeed further with your business goals; albeit via their own businesses at times.

You'll find that my door is always open (or should that be my eMail Box) so please don't hesitate in adding me as one of your new Sta.rtup.biz friends...
