This whole concept of network socializing is new to me, so I probably will make mistakes along the way. I hope not, but who can tell.

I'm a transplanted Hoosier, now living in the desert oasis of Southern California (Coachella Valley)... that's near Palm Springs for those of you who might not know. Today, it's only 109, so not too hard to take. It will probably cool off to somewhere around 95 this evening.

I'm retired from the County of San Diego, have written a couple of books, and am trying to get another published. I have a small in-home business on the side, which is associated with sending very personalized greeting cards, through the USPO, from your computer. That was a whole new concept for me, and quite simply, I got hooked on the idea. It's pretty cool.

I'm single, but very involved. All my kids are grown, and out on their own, and I'm just trying to enjoy life, as it happens. I love to travel, do photography on the side for fun, and generally prefer warm weather and warm weather activities, over their opposite. I can get cold enough sleeping alone, I don't need to go throwing snowballs...

I've been told that I tell too many jokes, have experienced too many different activities (so some people think I'm a know it all)... and, seem to have a pretty good memory. At least, I can remember some stuff. If I don't remember it, I probably don't think about it... Think about that for a minute... I've been married more than most, have seen all 48 of the lower states, but have not been to Alaska or Hawaii. I've traveled across Europe, lot's of places in the Caribbean, and spent a couple of months in Peru. There are still a lot of places I want to see.
