Right after Ike, there were so many calls to send urgent supplies, and it was amazing the amount of stuff that was getting hauled to our southern neighbors. But now that it's been a while, we've gone on with our lives and nothing more is mentioned on the news.
It's a compelling and humbling thing to hear that life is still NOT back to normal. It makes me stop whatever and consider my lot in life ... I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I will especially pray that all the red tape gets cut up in tiny pieces and blows away on the faintest of breezes.
