In my "day" job I work as a Legal Secretary in a small solicitors firm in Crediton, Devon UK. Last year with the global economic situation we were threatened with having our hours cut (or possible redundancies). This spurred me into developing my Virtual Assistant/Freelance Secretarial business - Avocet Business Solutions. I have to admit I am having fun being my own boss in the evenings and weekends! As I have over 25 years of administration experience I can usually turn my hand to most things - and I enjoy a challenge! I am looking to specialise in Localization - US English to UK English (I use MemoQ).

When I was social networking about my Virtual Assistant Business - Avocet Business Solutions - I came across Ei42. There are so many scam schemes out there in cyberspace it was really refreshing to find a website you can make genuine money. It certainly isn't a "get rich quick" scheme but I get commission and rebates on the items I would have bought online anyway. It is totally FREE to set up an maintain and there is no pressure to spend a certain amount each week or that you have to invite your friends before you can make money. Ei42 is a shopping portal with over 1,500 retail shops and services in the UK and 1,000 (and growing) in the USA!

Each country has its own individual shop and their own currency.
