Thundering Hearts:The Razor's Edge

Kenny Lee was born in a small farming town in Kentucky in 1960. He grew up working on his grandfather's farm, and in his free time enjoyed riding motorcycles. His love of motorcycles grew as he did.
In April of 07, Kenny Lee was riding his Harley down a country road, enjoying the wind and the sunshine, when all of a sudden an SUV came around a blind curve on his side of the road and hit him head on. Kenny Lee awakened in intensive care at the University of Kentucky the next day with his left leg almost severed. His life changed in the blink of an eye. It was months before he could walk again, and that was after four different operations to his leg. During all the endless days being bedridden, the depression was taking it's toll. "What am I going to do now?" he asked himself. An idea came into his mind to write a book about his wreck and his love for his fiancee Debbie, who is a nurse and gave him the encouragement to go on. Out of the ashes of what was his life came the novel Thundering Heart's:The Razor's Edge. He wrote about his true love for Debbie, about his wreck and recovery, then mixed in the fiction. He wrote about an outlaw biker named Road Dog, a throwback from the 60's and 70's when people were scared of bikers, and he wrote about a hero biker couple, Landon and Joan, who represent how biker's are today. Kenny Lee is still having problems with his leg, but he can walk and most importantly to him, he can ride again. Ten percent of all royalties from his book will be donated to the March of Dimes:Biker's for Babies campaign, to help the children of the world.
