My son…the soldier…

Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes while we traveled to see Private Joshua Rorie’s graduation.

His graduation from army basic training was April 30….absolutely beautiful and rewarding. Reported to Fort Knox, Kentucky on May 2.

On May 1st his wife, Brandy gave birth to their beautiful daughter…Libby Kate, 9 lbs 1 oz, 20.5 inches long.

Music Makes The World Go Round!

Music has always been a part of my life. I have no talent when it comes to singing and I certainly cannot play an instrument! Heck, I cannot even keep time or rhythm well enough to dance! I rely on other's talents to bring joy and comfort by way of music!

Get off the grid...

My dream is to get off the electrical grid! The power company in our area is a pain in the back of my neck! That is putting it politely!

There is no regard to a family's health or employment situations.

When a family is hurting, they do not want see the employees of the utility companies and city officials driving new vehicles around town and at the lake. They have the nicest of the nice and the fuel to go with it...thanks to us.
