Hello,
I write under the pen name LOOKMAN. I write exciting fantasies to capture the imagination and perplexing mysteries for children and Young Adults. My three published books are “Henry and the Alien”, “Mihte’s Quest” and “Children from the Sea.”

“Henry and the Alien” is an adventure about a girl dominated by her self-indulgent parents. Henrietta soon discovers her parents do not want her anymore. Her mother throws an old coat at her, which makes cry. It attracts a bumbling morphing alien called Eanie Meanie, who turns up as a letterbox. It is soon realised that the old coat is magic and the letter it contains tells Henri she is a foundling. Later after another short adventure, the sinister Geegle joins Henri with his bewitching violin. Together they create a morphed boy and pursue a wonderful and dangerous journey to find Henri’s roots. http://alturl.com/iy3

“Mihte’s Quest: Kids in the Underworld” tells of the adventures of three children left home alone. After arriving at their father’s home, they take to the river one sunny afternoon. Deep beneath our feet, the wicked gnome king rules the earth. He takes slaves of children who carelessly step near riverbanks. Things are different this time. The prophesy must be fulfilled -- one of the children is Mihte. They are the first to escape the Gnome king. Then saved and brought before the Oracle. He sets them on a quest in the land of the ancient spirits. It is a thrilling, chilling adventure through the last vestiges of a Celtic fairy world or Valhalla. This book the first in a series has attracted interest from Hollywood. http://alturl.com/xni

“Children from the Sea” is a more challenging Mystery (or crime novel). The main character is a teenage girl called Katie. She is forced against the will by her parents to emigrate to a Spanish fishing village. The locals do not like the new hotel and have superstitions about to a pod of dolphins that inhabit the bay. Katie finds a beached dolphin who asks her to kiss it. It turns into an amnesiac merboy who she immediately fancies. He is not what he seems to be, he has memories of ancient Muslim Andalusia. This complex book plays with a host of conflicts and builds an exciting mystery that no one can guess until the last chapter. It is a book of reconciliation and hopefulness.
