BUSINESS BIO
Michelle Poitier is a Memphis Tennessee native. However, she has traveled all over the world as the child of military parents, and later as a member of the Armed Services herself. Having graduated in Japan and coming back to the States she embarked upon a career in the United States Navy and completed thirteen years of Honorable service as a cryptologist. She met and married her husband, James of fourteen years, while on active duty. They have one daughter Alexis.

Michelle received her Associate of Science Degree in Business emphasis in Computer Science at Florida Technical College in October 2006 and is currently enrolled in the University of Phoenix pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Business Management with an estimated graduation date of February 2009.

After leaving the military she had the awesome experience of working as the Administrative Assistant to Mrs. Marie Heath of the Schell-Sweet Community Resource Center which resides on the campus of the famous Edward Waters College in Jacksonville Florida. She still volunteers providing assistance wherever needed.

Michelle Poitier is an up and coming entrepreneur. Aside from being a full-time student, Michelle launched her home-based business, Future Impressions Inc. in February 2007 (www.futureimpressions.org). What started out as a hobby blossomed into a growing business which provides Document Preparation Services. Michelle’s desire is to inspire hope in individuals who feel they have no marketable skills to offer. She is a certified Florida Notary Public and offers other services such as basic budget planning, resumes, editing, web design and other personal services.


Michelle Poitier encourages all to walk in their God given calling – and lives by the motto “Courage is the ability to persevere in the midst of adversity” Even the greatest craftsman cannot begin building a project without a plan! So, write the vision and make it plain – so those that see it may run with it. Michelle is an Intercessor at her church home, “New Covenant Ministries’ and sits under the revelatory teachings of Bishop Wiley and Dr. Jeana Tomlinson. Michelle has ministered in the prophetic dance at numerous women’s gatherings, and local community events. Moreover, she has been the guest on several local Jacksonville television programs the first of which is entitled “It’s a New Day” hosted by Pastor Jacquelyn Olds with a viewing audience of over seven hundred thousand. Additionally, she has also been a special guest on “Inspiration Signs of the Times” hosted by Jefferey McIntyre with a viewing audience of over three hundred thousand. Subsequently, Michelle was a featured guest on the local radio program (WCGL 1360) entitled “IMPACT” hosted by Yvonne Brooks.

Michelle Poitier currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida and believes the Lord has given her the gift of inspiring hope in those who feel hopeless, unworthy, or forgotten. She empowers and encourages others through the ministry of the prophetic dance, singing, acting, and the spoken word.

Michelle Poitier is the oldest of four children and was born in Memphis Tennessee. Her mother instilled in her the faith to conquer anything and to NEVER give up. She truly knows that God is her Supply, and people may have resources to assist you, but God is the only Source from which ALL blessings flow!

Michelle Poitier is currently on the potter’s wheel being molded into being the “voice” for those that would otherwise not be heard and is determined to be all the Lord has called her to be. To whom much is given – much is required. The Lord has bestowed Michelle with many gifts and talents. As it should be with each and every believer, her goal is to use those talents for advancing the Kingdom of God and bringing in the end-time harvest.

You should be happy fulfilling your dreams. So why are you not happy? Why are you agitated, discontent, and never satisfied? Are your dreams in alignment with the dreams, plans, and purposes that God has for your life? Often we pursue the desires of our own hearts and are frustrated when things don’t go as we imagine they should.

Then you wonder – if this is God’s plan for your life, why are you encountering all the obstacles? Have you been diligent in putting things in order concerning pursing God’s plan for your life? Have you studied to show yourself approved - if you are to be a minister of the gospel? Have you prepared yourself to be ever ready to give an account of why you believe in the Lord; especially if you are called to marketplace ministry?
