I am President & CEO of PCOS Challenge, Inc.
PCOS Challenge, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, the corporation is organized to provide support for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
It is estimated that more than 1 in 10 women are afflicted with PCOS, yet most people are uninformed about it and have no idea that such a condition exists. Women with PCOS experience a combination of symptoms that can lead to other serious conditions such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and infertility. In fact, PCOS is the #1 cause of infertility in women. There is no cure for PCOS; therefore it is a life-long condition. The organization’s goal is to provide support resources and inform people about ways to manage PCOS and all the symptoms associated with it.
PCOS Challenge, Inc. created the PCOS Challenge support and networking site (www.pcoschallenge.com) and the PCOS Challenge Radio Show to inform people about PCOS and other related diseases and conditions. Experts interviewed on the PCOS Challenge Radio Show provide advice, support, and their insight to help women overcome PCOS.
