I'm a true Texas artist.
I love painting. And I love sharing my art with others.
My art is simply the emotions of the heart that have been painted into words. My name is Barbara and Ive been a professional freelance artist for more than 30 years.
I specialize in:
Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Pen and Ink
I paint custom portraits of family, pets and custom orders. I paint wall murals in residential homes and commercial offices. I've been commisioned from New York to San Fransisco and abroad. Last year Holland this year New Zealand. Ive had showings in Texas and won ribbons in California.
About Me:
Ive always had a cabinet full of paints, crayons, charcoals and paste.
My strong point in painting is human emotions. If it has a face, I can portray 'feelings'.
Being Native American/Irish I'm very passionate about my art and all those around me that I love. I fall in love hard and I hurt deeply. I paint best when I can express myself when I'm ecstatically happy or deeply in pain. I do that best on canvas. So, actually that would mean my art is my diary.
My strong personal points are my humor, my compassion and my understanding nature.
Eccentric and eclectic, obtuse and illusive, I think / paint outside of the box.
*A racehorse has to run, a bird has to fly, a teacher has to teach and an artist has to paint.*
There is something within you, that you have to do.
