Hi, I'm Richie
I want to thank you for coming to my page. I'm glad you're here at STA.RTUP. I joined here to meet new people just like you. Becasue of that I welcome you to post a comment and tell me a little about yourself, why you've come here.
I'm just a regular guy earning my living online. I'm 55 years old, married to my wonderful wife Lillian for 27 years. We met and were married 6 months later. We have 2 great sons, Anthony, 23 and Mike, 21. We moved from the Boston area, Medford to be exact, to Florida 2 years ago. We're in Port Orange, which is close to Daytona Beach. On quiet days, we can hear the sound of the motors on a race day. The weather gets quite hot here, but there is no snow to shovel, so I like it.
In the early part of my career I was a driver. Coffee trucks, motor coaches, limousines, taxi's, I've driven them all. Because of my physical limitations I had to start a home based business. I thought internet, so easy... HA, how wrong I was. That is, unless you know how. I didn't, but now I'm starting to.
I'm so glad I joined here, life is changing for me and it can for you too. Don't take my word for it, look around, see what it's all about. Changed into the IT field back in 1989 and have been there ever since. This is my 20th year in IT officially, but I had 2 prior years before the career change, so 22 years now. Seems like an entire lifetime.
I am married and have one daughter, 16. She is amazing and a techie like her dad :) Her passions are graphics design and gaming (both designing and playing)
I have always been business-minded and have a collection of business ideas and inventions. I probably won't live long enough to try them all and more just keep coming.
My online business is brand new and was designed to bring smaller business operators and the general public together. Most advertising venues ignore smaller businesses altogether or charge advertisig rates they simply can't afford. I hope to change that. We offer a system, which for only $1 per ad, per day is searchable locally (by zip code and distance) and/or "Internet-inclusive" or "Internet-only"
So today I wake up with something in my eye. It's still there. Then I shower and shave. I nicked myself 3 times. Then I'm walking by my desk and stub my toe. Fun picture day, bloodshot eye, nicks on my face and a throbbing toe. Such Fun!
