Old Cars, Airplanes & Electronic Gadgets! (my hobbies)

My love for old cars got revitalized when I bought my Dad's 1950 Hudson Pacemaker from him last year just before he passed away. I always wanted an old car to take to car shows, but never had the time to get one restored or didn't have the money to do it. I also have the first car that I ever had, the good old family hand-me-down. A 1960 DeSoto Adventurer with pushbutton transmission. It sits in a storage shed waiting to get restored.
I fly radio controlled airplanes too, the largest, a Piper Super Cub having a 100" wingspan & floats for landing on water, weighs 10 pounds. I still have not tried the floats yet. The smallest is one made of foam & weighing 8 ounces.

And I am kind of a Tech Junky, I like all the latest greatest electronic gadgets. My first computer back in the 80's was a Commodore 64 or something like that. You had to load all the programs by typing in machine language codes that you got from the Commodore magazine at the time. I think the iPhone is great! Love the Apps!

VideoBlogging is the next generation of posting ideas and products over the internet. Everybody knows about TextBlogging. Now they use videos for a better way of expression. This form of communication may entail a lot of resources, but it is all worth it. If pictures say a thousand words, VideoBlogging exceeds that by far.

Additional Methods of Getting Articles Without Writing

There are several ways to producing articles without having to write them yourself. Using a ghostwriter is one way, using private label rights articles you have bought is another option and doing an expert interview is yet a third way to compile article information.

Borrowing another writer's article for use is yet another way to provide content for readers. Give the original author credit within the body of your article and fill in the rest with quotes from that author's article.

This is a ca… Continue

Does Your Article Come With Re-Branding Rights?

Allowing your readers to change the links in your article and author's resource box to their own chosen ones is a completely different idea. Most marketers work to keep that information in the article no matter what.

This may not make sense to you at the moment and you may even think it is a totally off-the-wall idea. Changing the affiliate links does not change your information as to your name and website link. These stay with the article so you still get the recognition.

You will still benef… Continue

Is Blogging Only For Money?

When one gives a quick look at the articles written on blogging, the common theme seems to be making money from blogging. The authors invariably talk about adsense and how we can make money from blogs. Is blogging only for making money? Did blogs begin with that idea? Are we losing the direction somewhere?

A blog gives an opportunity to everyone to express himself/herself on the Internet. We feel that we are sharing our deepest thoughts with other members of the world. Blogging is bringing the… Continue

We seem to have a lot in common. I was a mechanic for 6 years before going into the IT field. Been there for 20+ years. I also love the RC hobby, basically all types. I have a Traxxus 4Tec with about $1200 into it. It goes about 70 mph. Love RC planes too and would like to build a jet some day. I have also restored several old muscle cars including a 69 Olds 442, 70 Roadrunner and a 67 Chevelle. Been a tech junky for my entire life and it looks like I always will be. Keep in touch...

Hello ! Glad to see you plugging in here at Sta.rtup.biz!!

If you feel flustered with your social networking skills don’t be too hard on yourself. This is a new genre for almost all of us too.

In order to help you get up to speed with all this web 2.0 stuff I have a free resource I'd like to give you right now.

The Social Marketing Directory is a Master Resource List - with three categories of social (Web 2.0) sites that you can use to create your very own streams of highly targeted traffic/subscribers/sales for your websites and affiliate links.

I'm giving it away for free because it is the 2008 version and am in the process of putting the 2009 version together. So instead of deleting the older version in to cyberspace I thought you may enjoy it as a special gift from me to you.

To be clear: This is a Master Resource List - just because it's a year old doesn't mean you won't be referring to it time and time again!

This resource guide contains:

Over 100 Social Networking Sites (i.e. MySpace, Squidoo, etc..)
Over 150 Social Bookmarking Sites(i.e. StumbleUpon, Digg, etc..)
And Over 180 Video Sharing Sites (i.e. YouTube, AOL, etc..)

... PLUS - not only do you have the URL, but you also will have the Alexa Ranking and Google Page Rank for EACH SITE!

To download it for free right now just visit this page:

Best Regards,
