Just wanted to introduce myself
Hi, my name is Rose, I'm 54 and have a variety of health and mobility issues, so working a "real" job (as they say) is something I can't do any more. My body calls the shots now, not some time card. I couldn't be reliable in a 9 to 5 situation.
Oddly enough, I wasn't even looking for a business opportunity when I fell into AVON, I had lost 2 representatives in a couple of years and saw an ad " Top Ten Reasons To Get Your Own AVON Account", one of which was the discount and I thought "ok, I'll do it this way and get my stuff cheaper".
So I went to sign up, and Glori (the lady who is now my upline) was going over the stuff and said hw she had paid for 2 cars from her AVON earnings and was now paying off credit cards and wanting to help pay her mortgage ... and that was when my ears pricked up. And the wheels in my brain began turning and I thought "I can do that!".
Sebastian, my Land Rover Discovery II, is the emblem of my beginning success. I earn enough to pay for him. I wouldn't have believed it had I not met Glori.
I've been doing AVON since Octonber 2006, and I have a lot of fun with it, and it contributes to the family kitty nicely.
I live in beautiful SC, in Greenville but out in a semi-rural area, so we can have our goats (we have 4 Nubians) and chickens, plus we have 5 rescued dogs and 4 rescued cats. I'm a strong believer in spaying and neutering pets. I used to foster for various shelters until my health got worse and we ended up with too many who stayed on, LOL, and became ours.
I am passionate about many things, early childhood education, history, and as I age, it seems politics!
I love my life, despite my physical disabilities and pain. I know I'm exactly where God wants me to be, and I am blessed with so much that I can't complain about the problems.
