I'm a member of Orange leads too! I'm not that good at remembering about going there everyday to advertise! As an advertising tool it seems a good site. I like using Gumtree (I think you get something similar to this in the USA - google it and see what you get). You can advertise your business on your profile page in your Ning group - just don't spam people with your product! Go onto your Local Community Websites and see if they have free advertising available. I've also advertised on free noticeboards and applied to people individually to see if I can be of assistance.
What sort of product/service are you planning to do?
I do Affiliate Marketing in the form of the Ei42 Shopping Portal (see my profile page) as well and a Virtual Assistance service called Avocet Business Solutions which is my own business I work around my full-time day job (!) So I'm always kept busy!!

I do watch Dancing With the Stars, it's available on satellite over here in the UK.
