Who I am and my passion in life

First of all allow me to introduce my self, my name is Saverio Filippis. I have been in the accounting field for the past 7 years. I reside in Edmonton Alberta, with my girlfriend, and our three four legged children. As previously mentioned I have been in the accounting field for a long time, but I would have hardly thought myself years ago to get into this profession.

Many years of working with no real purpose or passion must of done it! My family always asking that I should choose a career didn't do it. All those years of them hoping I would be a lawyer or doctor or something; for it is rightfully important for Italian parents to tell everyone they know that their son is a doctor or something they consider important! Alas they gave up their pursuit and 6 months after I came across a pamphlet flying through the air and grabbed it, it was a flyer for accounting classes at a local college. One class and I was hooked!

My accounting diploma was completed at GMCC (Grant MacEwan Community College) and my diploma is from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). My designation will be complete by 2009. I believe that my educational journey will never truly be complete as there are many passions one being can have, if this were not the case life would become quite mundane!

I hope I can share some of my knowledge and wisdom to empower and help any one who needs so. I also hope to learn more then I could ever known was possible.
