Welcome...

Just a quick blurb...

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to have my own business. After high school, I joined the Navy, got married, and now have three beautiful kids. I earned my bachelor's degree and thought I was on track for future promotions when I realized that it wasn't what I really wanted. So, earlier this year I decided to accept a severance package, quit my job and figure out what I really wanted to do next. Several interviews later, I realized that my heart just wasn't into getting yet another J.O.B. (Just Over Broke).

So, what now? My own business... a network marketing business actually.

I have been tinkering around with home businesses for over ten years now. I say tinkering because like many others who have "tried that kind of business", I had a couple of meetings/parties, obnoxiously shared with friends and family, and quickly placed the biz on the back burner. I had lots of excuses for why I couldn't work the business consistently (I am working on my degree, I am exhausted from my J.O.B., I am working toward a promotion, my kids and family need me right now...). You know, the usual...

So, it was time to dust my home office and finally open my home business - for real. I compared some of the businesses I had already been involved with over the years to create a list of what worked and what didn't. I researched several different businesses before I selected my company. And here I am.

What is next? I have been trying to read about how to use both online and offline marketing - especially with a small budget. I stumbled upon this network, and found some great information immediately. I have been avoiding negative-minded people as much as possible, and I have recently met some very inspiring and business focused individuals. We encourage each other and share experiences. For the first time, I have actually set goals and created a schedule for my home business.

Now, as you might have guessed, my hopes for a home business are a reality. I am networking like never before, and people are hungry for an alternative to the old myth/legend of working for a company for 30-40 years and retiring in comfort. My business is building, and I am excited about what is coming next...

Blessings,

Sonya

Beware of Garbage Trucks
by David J. Pollay

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day?

Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab.
Here's what happened.

I hopped in a taxi, and we took off f… Continue

Has the decline in the market effected your business?

The best businesses to start during a tough time are those that answer basic needs. If you answer the most primal needs of a person, you’re going to get business no matter what.

Health is one of these basic needs because face it, it is a whole lot more expensive to be sick than it is to maintain one's health and sense of wellness on a regular basis.

While ‘Gurus’ might be suffering because no one wants to read ‘The-Best-Ever-Way-To-Make-A-Million-In-a-Month’ that’s a bunch of baloney, people d… Continue

What is your backup plan?

A recent study by the U.S. Social Security Board shows that 85 out of every 100 Americans reaching age 65 wowill have less than $250 in savings. With barely 2% actually being prepared to retire, 98% of Americans do not retire with enough money to live the way they want.

Recent failings of the U.S. economy have effected everyone, especially the 2% that actually might have been prepared to retire a few short months ago. Do you have a backup plan? Could an online business be your plan "B" or "C" t… Continue

Hi Sonya, Thanks for the comment!

It is Awesome to have You in My Universe!

I hope your days are truly blessed and Prosperous!

Please check out my newest business Blogs and remember just like in business....

In Africa, every morning a gazelle awakens knowing that it must outrun the fastest lion if it wants to stay alive.

Every morning, a lion wakes up knowing it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.

Moral of the story:

It makes no difference whether you are a gazelle or a lion: When the sun comes up, you had better be RUNNING!

Please let me know how I can assist you in expanding Your Universe.

Pay It Forward!

Peace & Blessings
