Vile Ent of Violent Christ.

Hi folks, my name is Vile Ent and I am a musician with a band called Violent Christ - http://www.myspace.com/violentchrist. The band is my creation and a business which I'm starting. My Professional name and Stage name Vile Ent is obviously tied in with the band's name, and the character of Vile Ent (a misfitted half man-half tree creature inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's "Ent" creatures in "Lord Of The Rings") has been developed since the prehistoric days of Myspace.com (2005!) with the full intention of using the character both as a stage persona and business "mascot."

Vile Ent invaded Myspace.com as a budding Musician, Music Journalist, Poet, and giant Tree Creature in the archaic days of Myspace in 2005, BEFORE the Fox takeover! He quickly gained over a thousand friends and maintained a high degree of popularity and visibility with Myspace users.


My other business venture aside from the band is a website which encompasses many things : basically all the services I provide, and the products will come later. It is based on my work as a Musician, Journalist, Creative Writer, Video Editor, Music Promoter, and is also based on the Vile Ent character. The site will consist of two distinct sections, a Media Webzine along with my Professional and Creative Portfolio, and an E-Store. The store will sell licensed Music Downloads, CDs, Videos, and Pop Culture Merchandise, and will come after the Webzine is established. Although work on the site has begun, I am now committed to an additional top priority musical endeavour which will delay further work until the results of that endeavour have been established. I will reveal the site to you all once I have a more satisfactory amount of work completed.

I also have the pleasure of Administration work with the Stage6.5 website here on Ning, http://stage65.ning.com/, which was founded by a great friend and a great businessman, Scott Goodman. It was through Thomas' membership on Stage6.5 and Scott that I was introduced to this site. If you look through my content up on that site, you will find various examples of my work - musical, sound engineering, digital video, literary, and my simple presence in the work environment there.
