With regards to your questions about promoting your online business. First regarding FREE hosting services, as you discovered they have limitations, but they are great for small projects and or to test the waters "so-to-speak". Having said that, they are not recommended for an active business. I highly recommend you consider a full-service hosting plan and getting your own domain. You can get both for under $40.00.
