I was first introduced to the wonders of the world wide web back in 1997. A friend set me up with an Apple Mac computer and lent me a 28k dial-up Modem. I duly registered and can remember opening for the first time, the #1 browser of the day, Netscape Navigator. From that moment on, I was well and truly hooked.

Within a year, I had upgraded my computer, was surfing faster with the latest 56k Modem and even had my own six page website, built by yours truly. My site was ranked #1 in AltaVista and HotBot (top search engines of the day) and I was receiving hundreds of emails per month from visitors to the site. I never thought to monetise the site at that time (missed opportunity!).

Unfortunately, for some years thereafter, I never took my newly found Internet skills beyond an interesting spare time hobby (silly me!).

As the years rolled by, I continued to upgrade my equipment, Internet connection to broadband and honed my personal online marketing skills.

August 2005, I took the big jump from employed to self-employed and converted my hobby to a business model.

I now bring to the market place a wealth of experience spanning 10+ years which I enthusiastically and passionately offer to the world of online business.

When I'm not seated in front of the computer screen, I love to get away from it all by going down to the local beach (15 minutes away) and setting up a couple of rods. Or, thrashing a small white ball around a golf course - sometimes that ball actually lands in the hole on the greens! Because I live just five minutes away from the New Forest, my wife and I will go for a walk or even get the bikes out - great exercise. Our son James, now in his 20's is a traveling man which means we only get to see him a couple of months a year. We do miss him, but it is great that he is enjoying himself working and playing abroad.
