How to Turn Traffic into Paying Customers

Turning Traffic into Paying Customers

So you’d like to get more of your visitors to take action (join your email list/leave their contact info/buy something/etc…) but you’re not sure how to do it. Here is a list of common things to look at when you’re working on improving the performance of your web site:

Is your offer compelling?

I could speak volumes on this (and probably will in the future). One of the main things you’re trying to do with your web site is create an off… Continue

Avoid Costly Mistakes with Sound Business Processes

My $2,500 mistake (I deserved it)

One of the things you learn from real estate investing is the importance of SYSTEMS. Systems are standard ways of doing things, and systems are usually passed down to new investors from experienced investors. Your Customer Service: It's Not as Good as You Think

Ask any business owner if he/she provides excellent customer service and they will undoubtedly answer in the affirmative. Are your customers satisfied? Again a business owner will answer yes. But the follow-up question often challenges those very same business owners: How do you know? There may be the occasional Customer Satisfaction Survey that indicates “satisfied” or “very satisfied”, but other than that, owners typically do not truly know whether or not they have established customer loyalty… Continue

How to use Facebook to Fine Tune Your Website

Social networking sites are not only a great way to drum up new business, but they’re a great way to find out how to get more people to buy what you offer.

You see, I can use any number of different marketing strategies to drive traffic to my site, and then I can see what the conversion rates are and then conduct a split test and see if I can improve them.

That’s great for an established web site, but when I’m first starting out I want real live feedback from my site visitors. I want to hear f… Continue
