The importance of business etiquette and professionalism has never been so evident in the business world than these times of economic turbulence.
Although some savvy business people have been smart enough to be leveraging the powers of business etiquette and professionalism and reaping its benefits, a majority of entrepreneurs, sadly, have been blindly pushing their businesses on clients and customers who over and over again come and go making it impossible for them to establish a well grounded…

I happened to be browsing through PRWeb for the latest news as usual when one particular article caught my attention.
It's actually quite old but relevant today. It goes like this and I quote:
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 2, 2008 -- Mother Nature, a New York City based "Natural Products" online retailer, has been working with the Zrinity team as online business consultants and a web-based software system provider since 2000. Oliver Clark, Chief Technology Officer, Mother Nature, recently sele…

There has never been a right time to leverage the power of etiquette in your business like in this world today where moral seems to have reduced drastically and credibility has become an essential quality that is so hard to find.
As a professional and an entrepreneur, to build credibility and to make your business and your persona stand out from the clutter of your competition, you should make sure that your manners and business etiquette are up to date in any circumstance be it online or offli…

I have for some time been studying the conversations on some of the social networks I belong to and have noticed the buzz about building relationships first when you are joining these social media for business.
That is so true and great advice yet what I see is that some people do not stop to think about whether their relationship building is ethical and with the proper etiquette.
So my question is –
How far will you go to build a relationship to benefit your business?
Will you be “the…

Social Networking today has become like the life blood of many businesses and with the economy taken a down turn, many more people are likely to start their own businesses and obviously take advantage of the power of social networking to grow their businesses in their efforts to lower costs on marketing and promotion.
It is easy to join and try to leverage these media but how you leverage social media with the proper etiquette in such a way that it sets you apart and exponentially grow your busi…

I admit, I’m only 6 months into the whole social network scene. But, what I have seen these last few months has really been unsettling. The online behavior observed, or maybe I should say lack thereof, really had me wondering do people really know what they are doing? When did common etiquette become an all time low and for that to be acceptable?
This past week, my inbox has been overloaded with so many emails from people I don’t know. Invitations to so many social networks sites, I never knew…

When I get a friend invite, I do not automatically click approve!! I go to that person's page first. I read EVERYTHING on it...comments on the wall and all!!!
Then, I reply to them on their wall. I thank them for the friends invite and add something special that I liked on their page, or find something that we have in common and mention that! Even if it's just a line or 2!! Yet, I personally believe that this person will appreciate my comment much more than a blatant advertisement abo…

Social media mimics real relationships — in many cases. Would you do the following within real face-to-face relationships?
Jump on the friendship bandwagon without properly introducing yourself?
Consistently talk about yourself and promote only yourself without regard for those around you?
Randomly approach a friend you barely talk to and simply ask for favors — repeatedly?
Introduce yourself to another person as “Pink House Gardening?”
If you answered yes to any o…

Any time you post original content on a site that is considered public domain, you take a risk that your original content will be altered and used by someone else for their own gain. The policy of most public domiain sites is that when you post your content there it becomes public domain also, so anyone who wants to can use the content you place there on their own sites or blogs and there's little you can do about it...
Unless...
You do a few simple things to protect your work, such as putting…

Are you looking for a way to get your articles noticed, and drive heavy traffic to your web page?
First consider this. The Internet hosts a wealth of information that no single person could possibly tackle in a lifetime. It would take an army to dig through the mounds of news reports and whittle the field to a manageable size, and then another army to pick and chose from that field the bits of information the average Web-savvy Joe might find interesting.
Well there is such an army to help you.…
