I’ve been in social media, shorter then most of guru marketers, but I’m a quick study and I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t when it comes to marketing on social media sites.
What NOT to do:
* Do not blatantly throw your products or business opportunities in the faces of your friends or followers. Lets face it, if that is your strategy you will be seen as more of an annoyance than someone of interest. I’m tolerant but I do have my limits and sometimes I will block or unfollow those that… Continue

My business is a supplemental health care, 7 out of 10 Americans with no Medical or Dental care. It's now possible to access affordable dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic programs for the entire household. I thought I could help my community since health care cost has gone up and most people have lost their coverage this year. This program is a discount, it helps families’ individuals and companies to be able to access or provide health care to families or employees.

Reputation management is critical to your business. Just like you shred paperwork so people can’t steal your personal information, don’t leave a “virtual” path behind when it comes to your identity.
Reputation management is the process of tracking an entity’s actions and tracking the opinions about those particular actions. Although the Internet is a great marketing tool for businesses, it’s also known for spreading rumors and scandal.
Someone “posing” as you could ruin your reputation VERY qu… Continue

Have you ever wondered what people are saying about you online? Have you searched Google for your company’s name to find out the “scoop?” It’s important to play online detective to investigate your online reputation. Your “offline” brand is just one face the general public sees. However, your “online” brand is just as important when it comes to reputation management.

Sounds like a very silly question to some people. However, if you are one of the 9.9 million victims of identity theft last year, then this question is no laughing matter. Let's take for instance this retired Wells Fargo Bank vice president. With one phone call, her life was turned upside down. Please understand that identity theft is a equal opportunity destroyer. It does not care about sex, age, race… Continue

Worth a read! This gives us something to think about with all our new electronic technology, and even if these actual stories aren't true, they're still very real possibilities.
Another example of how thieves are smarter than honest people, in their own way, and they're finding new ways everyday to use our new "toys" to outwit us and take what we work so hard for, while we enjoy our new gadgets, so to speak!!

I ran across this testimony on a site (http://www.privacyrights.org/cases/victim24.htm) that allows ID theft victims to tell their story. I recently spoke to a relative about getting their Will done. They said that they didn't need a Will. I asked, "why not". Their honest response was,… Continue

If you were to get involved with a company today you might want to make sure they have a good plan to protect your non-public information. What I mean is the company you consider working for should have an Security Information Officer who has constructed and oversees a written policy.
Data breach is becoming more prevalent not just in big companies like what we've heard on the news. It's happening in small companies as well. The problem is that most small companies don't have a clue th… Continue
