John Weir Three Skills That Improve Conversation

Three Skills That Improve Conversation By Brian Tracy One key to becoming a great conversationalist is to pause before replying. A short pause, of three to five seconds, is a very classy thing to do in a conversation. When you pause, you accomplish three goals simultaneously. The Benefits of Pausing First, you avoid running the risk of interrupting if the other person is just catching his or her breath before continuing. Second, you show the other person that you are giving careful considerat… Continue

Heidi Cornelissen Are you listening?

I’ve recently had a number of health-related issues in my close proximity and hence raised into my awareness: • My own ill health this past week that I’m struggling to shake off and recover from • A former colleague suddenly passed away unexpectedly in hospital on Saturday morning • A friend who had major surgery six weeks ago still keeps returning to hospital with complications • I watched an older Heath Ledger movie this weekend where he looked so young with a bright future ahead of him! Lif… Continue

Heidi Cornelissen What are you missing everyday?

I’ve just returned from ten days holidaying in Queensland. Just before flying home we explored the wetlands in Moreton bay. We enjoyed a walk to a bird hide. We stopped at the hide, to look for – yes – birds. But there wasn’t much activity outside the hide and my eyes fell down onto the seemingly deserted muddy, marshy ground. A quick action caught my eye and I said “There’s something there!” I stopped and looked. As if out of nowhere hundreds of marsh crabs appeared sporting their red pincer… Continue

Traci Suprise and Nut Allergy Alert- Monavie contains nuts which is great but not great for those with allergies

I recieved Monavie last week in the mail and started drinking Monavie right away. I didn't think there was a 'reason to at all look at the back of the label because after all I thought it was just a all around fruit juice drink so I didn't think I would be allergic to fruit. So as I was drinking Monavie it helped my IBS, was giving my hair a more shine, and I had more energy. I was even more happier drinking it so that made me not really listen to my small allergic symptoms like chest pain, so… Continue
