I don't know about you, but I'm about up to my ears with hearing about how "bad" our economy is. It's true that it's not in great shape, but does that mean that we have to give up all the little treats that we give ourselves? The answer is no, but we may have to be willing to be a little more creative to get them.
Over the last several years, many of us have become spoiled with the tantalizing tastes that we can pick up at our local coffee shop -- lattes, cappuccinos, etc. They are pretty expen…

Site Build It, Making Wealth for Dummies.
Article:
I used to spend much of my time building my own websites for my home-based businesses. The process was always extremely time consuming and the complication could have drove me into the nut house. After years of doing this I stumbled upon an article about SBI and how they improve the lives of those who are trying to build a site, with little to no formal education or experience. Well I was taken by surprise and didn’t believe that a company co…

In today's economy, saving money has become an obsession for some, me included. Gas alone is killing my family budget, as is the price of groceries. I have 3 kids to feed and a husband that comes home very hungry after a hard day of physical work. There are ways to save money just by doing a few things around your home and by utilizing resources around you.
1. Wash laundry in cold water.
2. Turn thermostat to 78 in summer and 68 ( lower at night) in winter. For every degree you turn up or down…

My teenage niece has visited me every summer since she was a toddler. I’ve taken her to the zoo, finger painting, the planetarium, swim classes, rock climbing, and bra shopping. She’s now preparing to go off to college.
She’s the daughter of a working executive single parent. This often means her parent is distracted while climbing the corporate ladder and tends to miss opportunities to instill self reliance or life skills into a teenager.
This past summer, I challenged my niece to create her…

Our introduction to the “dance” – the “Dance of Life” – begins with our emergence from our Mothers’ womb. Some would argue that the “Dance of Life” begins for each of us while we are in the womb. Nonetheless, we are born. We move from childhood to adulthood. The empty spaces between childhood and adulthood are spent getting an education. We find a job or embark upon a career. We marry. We have children. We struggle to nurture our children as best we can – and sometimes not totally cognizant of t…
