Making Friends in Network Marketing

Something one has to keep in mind when working from home in this business is that there are activities that are rewarding and ones that are time stealers. When using social networks to get leads, there is always the danger of concentrating too much on your business and getting customers, and of concentrating too little on connecting with OTHER PEOPLE. If you want to maximize your Network Marketing, remember these tips. 1) To thine own self be true. The… Continue

A Grumble about Grammar

Sometimes a morbid fascination will draw me to a profile when I read a comment they left. Sometimes it is to see if there would be any point in suggesting they find the time to read over a post, blog or reply before clicking the ‘submit’ button. Sometimes it is to see what kind of other crap they have written…and sometimes I find the saying “birds of a feather, flock together” very apt. Here is an example of a comment left for someone who wrote a terrible ad in the forum: “souContinue

It takes more than a catchy title to get responses. How do you get results?

While waiting for my reluctant homeschool student to finish an assignment, I browsed this site a little to pass the time, and, out of curiosity opened a discussion entitled "Making money is child's play when you know how". When I opened it, it was just another ad for porn. Porn is a huge industry, and no doubt there are lots of consumers, but are they likely to open a discussion about making money? I doubt it. Who is likely to open it? People who work from home, or are looking to do so,… Continue

Fatal Combinations...has this ever happened to you?

Time has a tenancy to get away from me. When I go up to do the chores, I am sometimes gone long enough to cause concern. My partner can not understand why it only takes him an hour to do them, and I am sometimes gone longer than two. I do talk to the animals, and watch them to make sure they are healthy, and I take pictures...LOTS of pictures... In fact, the other day, I needed my husband's help with my BlackBerry because it was crashing my entire system. It was very scary since it did a comple… Continue

ARE YOU UP TO YOUR ASSETS IN DEBT?

If you are like most Americans, you are in debt. Credit cards, mortgages, car payments, student loans, department store accounts and worst of all payday loans. On average, the debt of the working and middle class equals their assets. They are literally up to their assets in debt. Since net worth (wealth) is calculated as total assets minus total debt, if your debt equals your assets, your net worth is zero! In other words, you have no more wealth than the homeless guy on Main Street. Our… Continue

The Cost of Sloppiness

As a Work at Home Mom, I spend most of my time on social networks getting to know other people. Since I have always had a fascination with the human species, I truly enjoy this aspect of my work, and honestly think that even if someone does not sign up for my program or join my group, I am still ahead. Just recently, I came upon a post that was intriguing enough that I checked out the profile of the mom who posted it. In her ‘blog’ area, there was this title… “look for mom’s who what to worContinue

Aging and Disease - Free Radicals and antioxidants are fighting it out in your gut and the Free Radicals win

What if I had scientific proof that the vitamin and mineral supplements on the shelves and in the catalogs are actually destroying antioxidants in your small intestine before they could be absorbed into the bloodstream. Look at this video and if you want more information let me know. Continue

Farming today: is it possible to survive as a small farmer with the current restrictions in the market place?

I live on a farm in Nova Scotia, and we just farm to raise our own food. There are two households on the 300 acres, much of which is still the native sugar maple forest, and most of the work is done by my DH, his brother and myself, though the family meals at the farmhouse are prepared by their father, Opa, and feeding this growing family can be a challenge, especially when the cousins come up from Halifax. Opa, who came to Canada from Germany with his wife and three children, is one of the best… Continue
