This is a poem about the awe, mystery, hardships, and blessings of life.
I know it’s a fall morning in Cave Junction, Oregon. My wife and I prepare to walk the dogs, Max and Silas. We live in a gated, retirement community. We look forward to this walk again: comfortable, protected, reliable.
