One of the most fabulous inspirational quotes I've ever read is attributed to author Marianne Williamson. I absolutely love reading this over and over again. She says, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous"? Actually, who are you not to be? You're a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the wo… Continue
A few days ago I was engaged in a lively conversation over the phone with my motivational coach, Larry Hochman. In the middle of our conversation I made a comment and he responded and what we shared was so funny that we laughed ourselves silly. It was such a joy to laugh, joke and have a great time. Laughter is not only good for a healthy mind and body but is also good when we are in relationships or in a business. It releases stress and tension and motivates us to take life less seriously. It c… Continue

I still enjoy watching the original Star Trek series from the 1960's. One of my favorite Star Trek characters is Mr. Spock. When I was a kid I use to love imitating Mr. Spock. I had fun trying to act like him by being rational and logical. I loved it when he would raise his Vulcan eyebrows and say, "Fascinating". Watching him do the Vulcan salute and saying, "Live long and prosper", thrilled me to no end. Mr. Spock was a unique role model for me during my adolescent years.
Today, in my adult ye… Continue
One of my favorite quotes by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is, "Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision,… Continue
I have been practicing the art of meditation for 30 years. There is nothing more relaxing and rejuvenating than to sit quietly for 15-30 minutes in the silence after a long day of hard work and go within. There are many ways to meditate and there is no right or wrong way. I enjoy putting on an eye pillow and headphones in order to remove all sensory distractions. I also light candles and burn incense which helps me to attune to higher energies. I play many different meditation CD's from relaxing… Continue
There are many wonderful books on the market that teaches about the power of the mind to create the kind of life we desire. But none of these new ideas are really new. Many of the ideas about the power of the mind are ancient. If you were to do some research you will find many ancient Hermetic and alchemical texts that speak about the power of the mind and our Divine connection with a greater Cosmic Power. Ancient books such as "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth The Atlantean", "The Golden Verses of… Continue
There is a quote written by Charles Weston which says, "We turn to God for help when our foundation is shaking, only to recognize that it is God who is shaking it."
WOW, that's a very powerful statement. Why would a loving God shake up our lives? For many people, the very foundations of their world are not just shaking but has been ripped apart at the seams and the bottom has completely fallen out. Why would God allow this? Why would God allow so many horrible things to happen in peoples lives… Continue
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude each day has opened up an amazing treasure house of abundance, health and wonderful relationships in my life. I am often amazed by how something so simple as being grateful for all that I am and all that I have attracts more riches into my life. The riches flows in a vast amount of ways that never ceases to amaze me. I feel like a kid in a candy store!
In the documentary, "The Secret", the teachers stress the importance of being grateful each day and to coun… Continue
Many of us have friends, relatives, neighbors or co-workers who always see the big picture in every situation. They were born into this world wearing rose colored glasses. They can be so incredibly positive and jolly till it can sometimes be annoying. You wonder what planet did they come from? They see blue birds of happiness, a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow, and they dance through life without a care in the world. There is no tomorrow with these folks because everything is NOW! I have… Continue
When I served in the Air Force one of the greatest lessons I learned was the importance of teamwork. In the military we have to depend upon each other for our very lives. Teamwork is based on trust and bonding. It is good to be independent and self-sufficient, but there are times when there is strength in numbers and a group of people working together who share a common goal can help to build a system...whether that system is a business, a family unit, a church or volunteer work in the community… Continue
I was talking to a friend today and we were discussing the many levels of energy that people express from within themselves. Many people are outgoing, expressive, assertive, passionate, laid-back, contemplative, introverted, extroverted, calm, and quiet. It always amazes me the different levels of energy people express. I have a tendency to be outgoing, extroverted, intuitive, cerebral and sometimes enjoy being the center of attention. But there are times when I need to have quiet time to relax,… Continue

Remember saying these words as a child, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"? We had often shouted those words at a bully who tried to hurt us with cruel words in order to make us feel bad. Those words were said with fire and determination by children who did not want to be hurt or feel pain and shame. Those words were also used to show how strong children were and how they were not going to be brought down by someone whose sole purpose was to hurt them and put the… Continue
One of my favorite film documentaries is "The Secret". When I first heard about "The Secret" and what it was all about I became very excited. I have been studying spiritual principles for many years. When I first heard about the Law of Attraction in "The Secret" I knew it was an idea that I firmly believed in and had been practicing all my life. When I was a child I believed that life was magical and I had the innocent ability to think about what I wanted and, poof, it was there! I never worried… Continue
The silent mist of ancient dreams,
Permeates my being,
Washing my nightmares,
In visions of crystal sunlight,
Dissolving my fears,
With the trumpet blast of peace,
And freedom.
The mystic poets, philosophers,
Seers and sages,
Dreamed the ancient dream of life, light,
And love,
Dancing into my soul,
Awakening my heart,
To my oneness with the Universal Dreamer of Dreams

When the Voice of God speaks silently,
Within the chambers of my heart,
Simplicity echoes in return,
Chanting, "We can never part."
When the Voice of God melts softly,
Into the sacredness of my soul,
The Light within me radiates,
Singing, "Love is my only goal."
When the Voice of God flows gently,
Upon the tapestry of my mind,
The Universe within me dances,
Echoing, "God is good, gracious and kind."
When the Voice of God sings sweetly,
Throughout the vastness of my being,
My mind, body and spiri… Continue

a masterpiece of creative ideas
that are projected onto the theater

Remember the old saying, "You've got to sing for your supper"? There is some truth to that. I am a firm believer that a good song with positive lyrics can uplift the spirit and enhance the emotions. We are all aware of the power of positive thinking but what about the power of positive singing? In many places like churches, concert halls or a street corner, people love to sing and the more powerful and emotional the songs the more passion and intensity flows within the soul. Thoughts and words c… Continue
I happen to be a bit old fashioned. I enjoy romance, nostalgia, antiques, and classic movies and songs from the 30's and 40's (even though they are before my time). I love zany, slapstick comedy that gives me a belly laugh. There's an old saying that laughter is the singing of the angels. I'm sure that's true because it seems like the angels are always joyful and filled with life. Laughter is great medicine and is a wonderful natural health tonic. A good belly laugh a day keeps the blues away. T… Continue
