How Can YOU Be Successful On The Internet?

A lot of individuals would say that if you make a profit then you are successful. I believe that is a very narrow view and leaves out most of the social networking individuals who are on the internet to make connections and do not only have a profit motive.

How then can you measure success on our social network? I believe success can be measured in a number of ways.

First and foremost you must participate in the many aspects offered. If you take the time and effort to explore the home page of startup.biz you will find:

· Motivational Videos
· Latest Activity
· Expert Forums
· Most Recent Posts
· Diamond Member Posts
· Member Profiles
· New Members

You will be successful if you take the time and effort to read and listen to these products and then make your comments known to the writer. You do not have to read every blog but if you see something that is in your area of interest check out the writer’s profile then READ AND COMMENT on the article and connect with the writer.

A true writer needs a feedback on what is written to determine their degree of success in getting a message across to the reader. The writer can then determine if they are successful by having the reader take an action. If your product is read but no action is taken then you have not achieved true success.

The action desired does not have to involve the purchase of a product. Something as simple as having the reader add a friend request, comment on the article, ask questions, opt-in to receive a complimentary product, or click on a web site are all signs of the writer achieving success with their article.

What I see happening on the 'net with regard to social network places and even in real life situations, is that if the relationship is not productive financially, it won't last much past the first coffee. In other words, if I keep coming back here thinking that a relationship may be productive someday, I may be in denial and should make some changes.
