Marketing plays an important role in your home-based business success. Without successful marketing, potential business partners and/or customers will never become aware of the opportunity/products you are presenting.
So, let's talk about some marketing strategies:

1. Blogging: A blog is just an online journal. It's a great way to promote yourself, your opportunity and products. Just be sure to update your blog regularly. In other words, it's a great way to get your name out there to potential customers and/or business partners...e.i. Blogger.com

3. Video Marketing-Youtube: Again, this one helps you promote yourself, your opportunity and products. In other words, this is an awesome way to boost your credentials.

4. Article Marketing: it also helps you build your credibility. When people trust someone, they are more likely to try the opportunity or product that the person offers.

5. Free Classifieds: Allow you to place online ads describing what you have to offer. e.i. craigslist.com

6. Leave comments on other people's blogs with a backlink to your site - I know it's not very polite; however it makes it easier for them to look at what you have to offer.

7. Become an active member of Yahoo answers. Answer people's questions on answers.yahoo.com and refer them to your website.

8. E-mail Signature Link your email signature file to your website.

9. Add an RSS feed to your blog.

10. Manually submit your website to the major search engines.

11. Email your list. If you don't have one, get one.

12. Write and submit articles to the article directories.

13. Optimize each page of your website for a related keywords or phrases.

14. Post in forums and have a link to your site in your signature.

The key is to be constant...Update your blog every few days, post some ads here and there, make a video, write an article, participate in forums, make sure you put your business website's link in your e-mail and forums signatures...
