10 Steps to Driving More Traffic to Your Site Using Scribd.com

Driving traffic to your website is one of the top three activities of Internet Marketers. Without traffic you can't sell your product or service. One of the up and coming superstars in social networking is Scribd. If you haven't used it now is the time to start. This how-to article will teach you how to use Scribed.com to get exposure and new keywords to drive traffic to your site.

1. Search keywords that relate to what you already know. Writing on a subject you know about is very important for this task. Your current knowledge cuts down on the need to do a lot of research. Use the Google Adwords form to search for keyword on your topic.

2. Create a report based on the keywords you found. Your report should be written on the 10th grade level so that every adult can understand. The report should be no longer than 20 pages but no shorter than 10 pages. You want to give your reader value but don’t want to take up too much of their time.

3. Make sure it’s well written and edited. A well written report boosts your credibility and will get passed on. Get someone to proofread and lightly edit your report if you don’t feel confident doing it yourself. Leave the report for a few hours or few days then re-read it. Make any changes that will enhance your report and include contact information at the end.

4. Open and account and upload your report to Scribd.com. This website is a type of social networking publishing site. Thousands of people upload their articles, reports, and books for others to view. Scribd gets crawled by Google, Yahoo, and MSN daily. Your report or article can shoot to the top of the search engine with the right keywords.

5. Fill out the form especially the keywords section. The description and keyword section are especially important to fill out. Make your description keyword rich and use the other keywords you found for your topic as tags.

6. Submit to popular social networking sites such as Digg, Stumbleupon, and Technorati. Once you submit your report and submit it to the most popular social networking sites you drive traffic to the report.

7. Check your stats once a week and review the index section. After a week or so log back in to Scribd.com and look at your statistics. When you click on your report you should see how many views it has had. Some reports can get as many as 200-500 views per month depending on the topic and keywords.

8. Note the keywords that were searched to find your document. On the bottom right side of your report page you should see two tabs. On is the Index tab and the other is the Stats tab. The index tab tells you how many times the search engine bots have visited your page. It also lists the keywords that were search to find your document.

9. Use those keywords to write SEO articles to post on your blog or website. This information is gold because it literally gives you the keywords to use in creating future documents, blog post, and articles for your website.

10. Get more traffic and potential customers. After you have written more reports, articles, and blog posts from the keywords you have harvested you will see more traffic to your website or blog. You may want to branch out and submit your articles to Ezinearticles.com or other article directory to get more traffic. Using Scribd.com is one of the best ways to generate traffic and increase your profits.

MOST PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN SALE THEIR BUSINESS TO THE NETWORK RIGHT AWAY: NOT TRUE. GREAT IDEA AM SURE MOST WILL USE IT
