A Brief Introduction About Me And What I do

One of the chat groups I'm a member of has "introduction monday" and this is my intro I did there. Since the holidays have been so busy I figured I'd paste it here for now until I have time later to do a more extensive "about me."

Hi, My name is Melody Baum and I'm from Pierson, Florida. My passion and motivation is animals. I have a self funded animal rescue and use various programs to help support their care, feeding and rehabilitation. I have a wide variety of animals here, most of which are here to stay. I receive the hard cases. The ones who even other rescues could not handle. I have horses, dogs, cats, a goat, ducks, chickens and pot bellied pigs. They are all rescues either abandoned or abused. Many sad faces have arrived here and now receive "Peace At Last" which is why everything I have has peace at last in it somewhere. Oh, and yes, I have house pigs! Some of you have already caught a candid remark here and their about 'brb piggy tugging on me" or such. Fancy has been in the house since she was a baby, she's 3 years old this month. So it's normal for me and I forget sometimes how funny it sounds to others to hear something like that!
