Thank you for this oh so important tip Necole. WOW...my husband uses the ATM all the time. However, I try steering clear from them. Great information. From now on, I will be telling my husband to check the slot out before he places his card in the machine.

My first instinct would be not to talk to a stranger about what happened, but to go inside the bank and see if they could fix the problem. Thanks again for this much needed information.

The key is to be always be aware of your surroundings and to always be mindful of what can happen and what you'll do about it if it does. Sometimes, paranoia works best with saving us from making big mistakes and helps with keeping us sharp.
