I have a $1,000,000 Question for you.

Can Social Networks Attract more Leads to your Business and how?

If you are trying to figure out if Social Networking /Online Marketing are going to improve your funnel of new business or not, here’s your $0.99 answer --- YES. That’s the good news.

The bad news is in the How. Without getting all techi I’m going to explain it so that a 6 year old can understand and benefit from it. I explain this on a YouTube Video but for those avid readers I can break it down here as well.

Who Do You Think You are?

I know this may appear to be a dumb question but it is absolutely, the one question that you have 9 -15 seconds to answer or you’re done! Here’s why. We are all busy professionals so the attention span for most of us is about 6-9 seconds just to see if we want to listen for the next 30 seconds. So you need to identify yourself and your expertise in milliseconds. That being said, you better identify yourself and your qualifications instantaneously. Think about it: Your toilet is overflowing with raw sewage and you need a plumber NOW. Are you going to waste your time on a guy who is a florist? NOPE! (Now the reality is that he may have over 25 years as a master plumber but you don’t have the luxury of time to explore his resume.) The point is people seek out expert advice not novice advice when available.

Everybody is a Star.
Aston Kutcher recently out produced more subscribers on Twitter than any of the media BIG Dogs i.e. CNN, Walmart, Obama. On the surface this may be no big deal. After all he’s a celebrity right? True, he is a celebrity ……………. But aren’t we all. Social Marketing is all about connections & relevancy. You have to build a following of people interested in your subject matter. As they follow you they also share this info with others. Now in the good old days (7 years ago) this was referred to as Word of Mouth Advertising or Referral Marketing. Anyone can out perform Aston because anyone with a video camera can be a star. Don’t believe me go to YouTube.

Tsung Tsu and the Art of War
I know you are wondering what the heck does a 2000 year old philosopher have to do with Social Marketing? Everything. Chapter 2 - Waging War explains how to understand the economy of war and how success requires making the winning play, which in turn, requires limiting the cost of competition and conflict. You Social marketing Strategy is a Campaign of War. You are competing for the hearts and minds of those needing to hear “The Words” of their Leader. Social Networks are how you disseminate information to your troops and would be followers. It is also how you acquire like minded people who in turn become your agents of influence to their followers, associates, contacts or what have you. IRONICALLY, this is incredibly simple to do and can be as simple as posting an email, video, website or Blog such as this one here. The problem is the enormity and vastness of the Internet. The best strategy is to ask those loyal to you to also send the information to their followers and so on, and so on. By doing this you get exponential exposure and growth in your list.

GoldMail - Drive Revenue

Social Networks and Web 2.0 are your weapons of war.
The purpose of waging war is to win. Winning can come in many forms but in this case the goal is domination so that the Internet sends new users, followers, buyers to you. There are many weapons to use, some better than others. The attraction properties of Social Networks are a key factor in Attraction Marketing but the content must have value and relevance to the reader/consumer in order for it to propagate throughout the Internet. Once you have created great content your next task is to Nuke the net so that those people seeking the content can find you. Only then, with a flood of followers, can you generate more leads from people interested in learning more about YOU, your product, and how it will benefit them in there daily lives. Web 2.0 technologies make the process of connecting and propagating easier than ever by putting content in multiply places more efficiently. By doing this your rankings are optimized and placed higher on search engines like Google, Yahoo and others.

There are many tools one can use I personally use GoldMail, IDL3.0, MLSP and MTF2.0, FREE TRAFFIC PLAN respectively. Both of these will teach anyone the “how to” but you have to be willing to put content together. You also want to use some automated processes that take care of the heavy lifting so that you spend your time talking to people who have self identified them self as BUYERS. So if you ever wondered what is so important about Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Ning and others, "here's your Sign." By leveraging these networks your message will be placed in front of more relevant people who are seeking your solution than ever before. The beautiful part is it only cost you a few minutes a day. Somewhere out there someone is seeking the very thing you are trying to sell, Social Networks help them find YOU.

Business is based on SYSTEMS.

All business is based on systems. Having the right system can make all processes profitable and efficient. Integrating all the various Social Networks together can become tedious and redundant.

I am looking for business associates but before that I really want to make real friends who do not have to talk business all the time or try to sell you something after 2 seconds of knowing you, but to exchange views and seek business solutions but most of all to be friends.

Leonard, allow me a joke. You made a question and wrote almost a book to give us answers?
"Can Social Networks Attract more Leads to your Business and how?"
Yes, Social Networks Attract more leads to my business and they do that by reading my comments and leaving there their time spent. My computer, as well as theirs and yours and everyone's, when linked to the same net do work attracting eyes to letters, and this is the reason I purposelly chose not to read your writings.
If you already know the answer, why did you question?
To receive cumpliments?
Well done. Thank you. I read a lot of them.
Teaching, Leonard, teaching people, and doing it well, you get the attraction of people who attracted will attract the attention of the ones attracted to them.
I do it well, for some of the comments I read. Congratulations.

Interesting essay. It's not my view of social networking or marketing, the martial metaphor is something that I've seen a lot of since the 1980s.

I look at Internet marketing as more of a process of filtering the vast billions of vaguely bored surfers for the ones with an actual interest in what I'm doing, then filtering those for the ones interested enough to follow, keep reading, use my information and buy the same tools I did using my affiliate links. I take a very low key, soft sell approach to marketing...

And it works.

I've just seen some results come in on my website that give me a good strong leap forward. It's not a get rich overnight thing by any stretch of the imagination. But a lot of "Get rich fast" schemes when they work, do so by a more predatory approach, almost hit and run. They are not always building for the long term, where success is cumulative and results build on results.

So your system may be better suited to people who want to aggressively command shifting mobs of mainstream buyers interested in pretty much the same things rather than a niche market. I have no doubt your system probably works well with some sorts of products. It takes a more aggressive outlook than I have and a different personality. The metaphors are traditional for big business.

Around the eighties, people were exclaiming about CEOs reading and applying the Art of War to business dealings. It's been very popular ever since. It's a good book with a lot of wisdom in it, but it's not all there is.

In a way I'm not actually looking for leads so much as presenting my information and then when the people who are interested in the topic get into it, they're likely to be ordering their supplies on my affiliate links. By the time I have an art instruction book in print, a very large readership already familiar with my style of art instruction is going to be glad to get it. The publisher I'm looking at is one that very often keeps good titles in print for decades, so my results as a pro author with that publisher will also be cumulative.

It's fun, and it's life at a different pace with a different goal. I'm sure your system works well for someone with a competitive streak.

Hi Leonard this is Frank Gorka Here, I know for a fact that Social Networks work like clock work in creating leads. But this is not the problem that most people have, their problem is converting those leads over to being a new distributor.

See this is where the problem lies for most people. Now here are some things that need to be done if you want to convert those leads into your program.

1. Call the lead and introduce yourself to them, tell that person you are available to help them unconditionally without wanting anything from them at all.

2. Ask them Why is it that they want a home base business? AND JUST

3. Listen to their answer and do not talk JUST LISTEN....See so many want to control the conversation by telling that new person or lead on the phone HOW GOOD and GREAT their program is. SEE THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE, this only shows them your trying to sell them and lets face the facts 99.99% of the people on this earth do not like SLIMY SALES PEOPLE.

4. Show them by not mentioning your program that you really do want to build a friendship first then I guarantee you, you will see them asking you what business your in and how it's going for you.

5. And Finally lead them to some free information about how to improve their online skills. See most people on the net want and desire a home base business but lack in the skills it will take to make a home base business successful much less than be a leader.

And most people know this down deep inside but are afraid to ask you, so offer this up front by saying by the way _______I don't know where your at with your home base business skills that you will need to operate a home base business but I found and awesome resource that might help you if you wanted to take a look?

Wait and see what they say if it's no then honor that NO and be professional but if they say YES then you just established a beginning of building trust between two people that will lead to a friendship down the road.

See people when fearful about an issue in their life will not let you know they are fearful about it, see human pride will keep this inside of them, and they will take it to their graves just so they do not look stupid or dumb to others. FEAR is what keeps people from making changes in their life and fear is what's going to keep them broke until you help them over the fear.

See this is why I have created FrankGorka.com here at my blog anyone can use this blog and all of my online learning videos for any MLM business that they are in.

I will show you how to build a blog, advertise your blog for free, DOMINATE GOOGLES INDEX LIKE I HAVE DONE FOR many years now and give anyone that wants to know more a real chance at their home base business.

Remember my friend, FEAR IS WHAT HOLDS PEOPLE IN BONDAGE, FEAR IS WHAT MAKES THEM DO NOTHING, FEAR IS WHAT MAKES PEOPLE NOT CALL YOU, if you can overcome their fear they will follow you into any business venture you might have because of this one reason TRUST, see if you helped them overcome their fear and this = TRUST IN THEIR MINDS

My blog and videos are free to anyone that wants them http://www.frankgorka.com

I have to agree with Eric, unless & until you step forward to introduce yourself one on one, then social media will not be very effective in my humble opinion. I see people who have thousands of followers on Facebook & Twitter, but what does that really do for the bottom line?
