When we feel like so much information is coming our way and we don't know how to deal with it, we want to run fast to get away from everything and everybody. I felt the same and had to do something that would give me more control in my life.

When I was a Presidential Candidate, I saw something that all business people needed and weren't getting. We needed to know how to turn on and off the news when we want to and how to get the news stories we want to check out and not have it spoon fed to us. I also noticed that all of the news channels were featuring the same things over and over again. I thought do we really need 100 news channels to talk about the same people over and over again?

All of us entrepreneurs ( no matter the business) are very busy, right? We all want to get our news and be informed about our surroundings and our nation but don't have much time to turn on the TV, right? We need to know what's happening so we can strategize our investments, our business goals and, know what's happening in our neighborhood and our country, right. I thought I would do something that would give professionals and everyday people on the go a little peace of mind, so I developed and put my film producers hat on to create something for us.

Another reason for starting BNJ was after being a 2008 Presidential Candidate and campaigning across our great nation, other candidates you never heard of and I were hearing from people who just wanted to see real news, not so much commentary and not having to wait through an hour news program show just to see the story they were interested in.

These people were starving to be informed about what was happening in their area of the world, but they wanted to know about candidates the media wasn't featuring. These were really disenchanted when they heard our answers to health care, our economy, keeping our country safe that were not being discussed on most of the news programs.

For instance did you know there were over 120+ Presidential Candidates in the 2008 Elections? Did you know that I was the 1st official Presidential Candidate? Information like this got people angry that our media talked about the same topics and the same people god only knows how many times a day when they could have at least mentioned daily the people who may not have had a chance in the elections, but had answers to their questions.Now my Presid$ential competitors are my Columnists and that's because they have information that can empower you. There are times we disagree on subjects, but they have the right to voice them as long as they believe in the fundamentals of our country and want to make it stronger.

Hearing the things people and the candidates who were not being heard, but were in need of the people hearing their view, helped me to put my producers hat on and
create just that type of news site that would be pleasing to the eye, unconventional professional with a woman's touch. BNJ is turning out to be a place where everyone can get their cup of news Joe or their news fix and go about their day, as well as come back and check out some of the postings from our columnists, feature stories from people doing extra ordinary things that the public wants to know about and a place where the people can voice their concerns.
