Do You Know The Value of a Mastermind Group?

Have you ever seriously considered what commonalities there are between the truly successful entrepreneurs and business owners in the world? Have you ever even given thought to the fact that there are common traits and behaviors among the top earners?

Many years ago, there was a young reporter who did just that and spent the better part of 20 years of his life studying the traits, thinking and actions of the elite successful. His quest started with one interview with one of the most wealthiest men of his day named Andrew Carnegie who then gave him access to his impressive network of 500 others of the most successful people at the time including those such as the Wright Brothers, Ford, Edison and Rockefeller.

If you think about it, this was truly an amazing accomplishment! Just being able to gain access to this impressive elite group and be able to "pick their brain" as to what their mindset and thought process was, what they did and how they did it when this young reporter didn't have the luxury of social networking through linked in and facebook at the time to see who was on Carnegie's A list of friends is truly astounding!

At the end of his 20 years of inteviewing, studying, and analazing his data, this bright reporter named Napoleon Hill boiled it all down into 13 success principles and wrote the classic book entitled "Think and Grow Rich."

One of these commonly practiced 13 principles of the succesful elite was that of a "Mastermind Group", though sadly it is often an overlooked and under utilized practice today. Essentially this was a reletively small group of like minded individuals who regularly gathered together with the common purpose of helping each other first to understand each member's ultimate purpose and intention, short and long term goals and then from there think bigger, smarter and more creatively.

When there is that much common focused purpose and positive intention, something magical would happen which would then catapult them into the stratospheres of success! The collective "Mastermind Group" is a powerful tool that is unfortunately underused and overlooked.

When you look in a mirror, you can only see one dimension, unless of course you’re looking at yourself in a 360 degree surround mirror where you can see the "bigger picture". But even then, it isn't until you ask your trusted friend what they think that you get "the full picture".

I'm fortunate to have a "Mastermind Group" of my own trusted individuals who know me...know the desires of my heart and know where I want to be in the future. Overtime, they have helped me to gain further insight into my strengths and inspire me to accomplish my goals and dreams through helping to think more openly and creatively in ways that I never would have even dreamed of on my own. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that this core group is essential to the success of my short and long term goals.

As a result of this, I've created the "Masterminding With Amy" Group. My hope and desire is that like Napoleon Hill, as I interview many successful experts in their field or niche, that together we will be able to gain further insight into ourselves, and inspire one another to think more creatively as to how to apply these same principles into our own lives and business with similar results.

I firmly believe that my own mindset of positive intention combined with applying the timeless success principles including that of a "Mastermind Group", will only propell me to achieve great things and allow me to help as many as possible accomplish great success of their own along the way.
