MERCHANTS WILL PAY YOU TO SHOP ONLINE
As magazines, newspapers, TV, and other companies who rely on advertising dollars feel the pinch of falling ad revenues. Companies are switching their Ad dollars to the internet. This will continue to grow because companies love customers coming to them online. They can easily manage their ROI (return on investment) for their ad dollars. They will also incentivize you to shop online in the form of rebates and discounts. In a lot of cases shipping is free and you don't even have to leave home, burn gas, which is going up again, and fight the crowds. This folks is the future. Recently I went online and bought some restaurant gift certificates through this site for pennies on the dollar. The company was running a sale so I bought $500 worth of gift certificates for $40. Yes $40 no catches. First rate restaurants all local. In my area there were about 70 restaurants to choose from. That was just 1 of the more then 800 stores they have currently with several thousand more in the works. These are stores you already shop at, Home Depot, Borders, Macy's, PetSmart, Target, Starbucks, the list goes on and on. Doesn't it make sense to shop at the same stores you already shop at, just save money doing it?

GO GREEN
As you already know theres a big movement to go green. This particular company has a whole section of "Green" stores with a goal to add several hundred more in the near future. They've hit on the right combination of supporting the green movement and shopping online. Both big growth areas who's future looks very bright.

CREATE YOUR OWN REVENUE STREAM BY HELPING OTHERS SAVE
This company also adds a multi level element if you choose to share this savings information with your friends. Its kind of like going to a good movie. When you do you tell your friends about it. When you can save up to 92% on a product, in this case buying $100 in restaurant gift certificates for $8. Wouldn't that alone be worth sharing with your friends? If they agree with you and join you get $100. And they will love you for it. Sound too good to be true? It isn't..check it out for yourself at http://www.payyourselftoshoponline.com you'll be glad you did. Don't forget to go to http://getthebestcard.com and add even more to your online savings.

Yes I do shop on line. Especially when it means buying the same exact product that is name brand cheaper than it is available locally.

It's great to learn all of the possibilities, out there, for saving. I've gotten deals after signing up with Travelzoo.com which leads to other sights such as Restaurant.com, which sometimes offers $25.00 gift certificates for $2.00, as well as other increments, for almost pennies on the dollar.

I do shop online for most everything, and get better, safer products for reasonable prices - and because I have a membership with Melaleuca, I also get discounts on other online stores like Barnes & Noble and Dell.

They also have a credit card that pays us in products for every purchase we make...our tickets to Gatwick gave us about $60 of free stuff everyone uses every day.

I guess where a lot of people may have a problem is if a company is really new, or does not have an established reputation.

The only thing I don't like to shop online for are shoes, although most places have an pretty easy return policy.

This post seems to be an ad for these programs. As for your question: I shop online A LOT and I have been shopping online for many years. In 1997 I bought most of my Christmas online. I always do a search for free shipping. I especially like to shop at merchants who will take returns at their physical store (like Eddie Bauer).
I buy ebooks and all sorts of products online. Lately I've shopped a lot at Snapfish so some of those pictures I take get off my camera.

Good ideas. Also--always ask for a discount. You will be surprised at the result.
