My name is Steve Nobel and I live ion London. For some years now i have been interested in personal development, coaching, NLP and also many spiritual traditions. I am also a director of a not for profit organisation based in London.
I am interested in what works not just interesting theories. Over the years I have put together a philosophy on how to live more in the flow of life.
If you look at some of the most successful people in the world they usually have discovered there unique way to create effortless results. When you are in the flow of doing what you love then it will not seem like hard work. When an artist is in their flow then they can work hours at a painting yet feel like it was just a few minutes.
The concept of "flow" was studied for over 30 years by American psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. He found that people are the happiest when they are the most absorbed in their actions, with a sense of effortless action known as their "flow”. He concluded that it is "a condition of heightened focus, productivity, and happiness that we all intuitively understand and hunger for". Flow is a inner state of being that can produce miraculous results in the world. All top athletes and business executives understand being 'in the flow'. Before you can be in the flow you need to understand the things that put you in your flow and help to anchor you there.
So often we are taught that life has to be a struggle and that if we are to achieve anything meaningful in life then we have to work very hard. This is a recording of a webinar where I explore the concept of flow and how it can be both very practical and enlightening in its application.
This recording lasts around 36 minutes.
