end poverty

I received a comment on my blog that warmed my heart. My passion is to end poverty, I was told by others that this is a noble cause but many have tried it and failed or met with undesirable events. I say it can be done if every one on this planet came together as one for the same goal it can be done. I worked at a place where I took calls for a ministry. I was amazed at how much people donated to this organization or church to have their prays taken over seas or to buy a bible or what ever they were offering for the good people. Thousands of dollars just for one item. I see people donate to charities over seas or even close that you see on t v never knowing if these people ever see the money just to help. Why I ask if we have this kind of money to give ,why we don’t share it to end poverty. Look down your street or block how many people need help. Drive down town how many people do you see that need help? If you open your eyes and look you will see many. We give money or our time to feed or clothe people for a one time shot. What if we used this money to get them going to finically supporting them selves more than minimum wage can do. It shouldn’t cost money to eat or have a home to live. If we cant finically help all to support themselves make it that the law makers provide free homes and food for its people.
This is just thoughts to get every one thinking if we all help in this we can as a human race end this. No more crying children only laughter in their hearts and soul. Step up to a higher calling.
I vision is to build in every town a place for families to go were they have a place to live, food in their bellies. I will have computers there setting up their financial future by helping them have a business of there own. I would cover all costs to start this up and get it producing money for them. In return they are to do the same for others. Preferable build another place in a town to do the same thing. They of course would not live in this special shelter once they can live on their own. There would be no time limit but would need to make room for other families that need it. Depending on the size of town would depend on how many of these special places I would need to help. It would be a communities dwelling were we help each other. I recommend watching a great movie called “Paying it Forward”. So you can get an idea of what I am talking about. What ever it takes to end this evil thing we have allowed into our world. Its hard for us to understand poverty or hunger if we have never experienced it. Be assured its not a great feeling to know this. I want people to know what their passions and dreams are help them find it and live it. Happiness is what every human on this planet should feel and know. Together as a race can do this. Lets do this we are such an honorable race when we need to be. Why can we do this cause we want to be not when disaster strikes. Join me in this fight lets end this once and for all. Stop looking the other way in hopes it will go away and you don’t have to worry about it. it’s a great feeling to know you really made a difference in some ones life.
