How to never lose your vision,even when you are blind.

OK what is this VISION stuff all about blindguy? What are you talking about?

Lets start at the beginning. I have been 100% blind since Jan 3rd 2000. So living in the dark now comes second nature to me. I sat around for about 30 days in a pity party for me "oh me oh my I am blind what am I going to do?" "How can I make a living?" Cry cry cry for poor me.

Then I had a VISION of a mushroom. For the uninformed let me explain how people make mushrooms and make mushrooms out of themselves.First I did part time security work for a company Montery Mushroom where they make tons of mushrooms. They start with piles of straw and then pile of BS ( yes very rich and thick BULL stuff) and mix the two into one huge pile and let it cook. It gets smelly and even steams comes off of it as it breaks down and get to a certain point. They then put into trays that are 3 foot by 5 foot long. Add mushroom spores to it and then add more BS. They them stack the trays and place them in dark damp rooms and lets the fungus (mushrooms) grow.

To stop the growth the flood the air in the rooms with a gas form of embalming fluid. ( nice huh). They them wait 5 days and harvest the mushrooms to package and sell.

With this vision in my mind I knew I did not want to sit in the dark and have people throw BS all over me and hope I grow and they when I do gas me with more poison to stop my growth(sound like a lot of MLMers huh).

So what did I do I started to look for other ways to "SEE". WIth my Ears, Hands, (fun one) and what ever else I could find. Just a not at this time I was single again and dating on the braille method was great fun (another whole story). I went running full force into the dark with only the VISION in my mind of what I could do and where I was going.

Flash to today and the phone call I had with a friend.( non MLMer). You see I know I am on the right track in the right place and the right time by what happens round me.

So you say what happened. Lets start with the RED CARPET EVENT in LA Mothers day weekend. First, a disclaimer this is not to invoke pity or a pity party for the Blindguy but to invoke in you "If this is happening to the blindguy and he is making it them little old me that can see and have not handicaps should be sailing and flying."

During the Checking in to the hotel from the bus to the hotel I pulled my suitcase (weeks worth of items in it as I had other business to do after Red Carpet 49.6 lbs) with my left hand from the top rack and hear a pop. Did not think anything about it till about 9pm that night when my arm and hand went numb.I had torn arm muscle and broke three ribs. ( did not know this for two more weeks) never the less I attend RED CARPET and learn alot. Fly to Phoenix to say HI to Mom for mothers day and then enroll two people into Visalus on Monday and Tuesday. Come back home to Iowa City Iowa and the next two weeks spent under lots of meds, bed rest and several trips tp the doctor and ER to get on the mend.

On top of all of this Attend Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University,Granddaughters Dance Recital, Soccer finals, (4th grade girls Iowa City Champs 9 and 0), Softball games, two daughters, (16 and 17) with prom, dance recital, dates, boyfriends, Church, and the assorted in laws and outlaws with grads and other family stuff too.

That brings us back to the phone phone cal and the items from the last 24 hours.

Talking with the friend catching up I get a call from my daughter (17) "Dad, I hit something". "The car will not move" and then within five minutes call from daughter 2 (16) "Dad something is wrong I needs to see the Doctor."

Anyway this friend said "why are you still so happy and have a smile all the time?"

I said if everything was going perfect I know that I have lost the vision and I was on the wrong path to find that vision."

You SEE for me why you serve God first and everything second, which is my priorities, the Devil, the Evil one what ever you call him will try to steal your vision.

It can be a friend, (Curse God and Die) ( you live with a black cloud over you), it can even be a spouse, if you are not on on the same vision..So Blindguy, what is the secret to VISION.
