Did you know that billions of Dollars are spent every year, promoting online Offers and Programs only to have then thrown away by those that never read them or acknowledge
thru any communication of any kind that they had even received them. So therefore ,
No money has been made, only lost and that should matter to every person chasing the dream that they too can prosper on the Internet. It doesn't matter whether they have their own program
or are promoting affiliate programs, like I do
Most Marketers throw good money after bad, going down the same road and falling into the same black Hole of the Internet and expecting a different outcome. so What could be wrong.? Not all of us can write a book, invent a program or sell affiliate websites, and most of us can not pay big name
advertisers to do it for us. So what is the answer? I think that the answer is how you go about presenting your offers to your prospects, and which one works the best for you. I would like your opinion on this.
Say you want to make money by selling an affiliate program. Does it matter to you whether your prospect buys today or later? Most people would say, "yes they should buy today, right now!" no question. My thinking is Yes, I would like them to buy today but I am going to give that person the chance to come back several times and in the meantime I will give them the best
Customer Service that I can possibly give. It could be a friendly telephone call, just to say that I am available if they have any questions. I would send them a very friendly email saying that I am standing by to assist them in any way that I can. I feel they will purchase when the time is right for them. I have given them the offer, they have returned to my website 2-3 times but still are not buying. Then say 5-7 days later they purchase. So I feel that my way works just as well as those that say "Buy Now! Right now!" The end result is what really matters, and both ways work.
Since I am looking for the long term Business relationship, I feel that what I am doing is best, for me.
I do this in my business because I have found over the years, that if you put pressure on people, they only stay for a short time and
cancel anyway. I build relationships for the long term, thus to have a lasting business relationship that I have built with confidence and trust, I feel that is key to building my business. This is important because if you want a long term business relationship with respect on both parts, it makes it so much easier to Network with people that you have built your reputation with. I prefer this method, and this is the method that I personally use in my business, however there are those that differ. One such person is a well known Author of 18 books and a Harvard graduate, Dr. Jeffrey Lant. He is a marketing expert.
Dr. Lant talks about offers, that you have to make an offer and make them feel as if the offer is only for a limited time, and that if they don't take the offer that they will never receive it again. Dr. Lant is a self made Multi Millionaire, so I guess his way works also.
This is what Dr. Lant Writes: If you understand that your customers
are stuffed with things and mostly don't
really need to act today to acquire more;
if you understand that your failure
to motivate your prospects to take
IMMEDIATE action will kill your business,
then you'll stay focused on developing
and using offers in EVERY marketing
communication you ever create. The
day you stop using offers... is the first
day of the end of your business.
Dr. Lant is also the author of "Cash Copy"
A classic and a fantastic read
I have been on the Internet for 7+ years and I make a living with affiliate websites.
It can be done, just make sure that you choose the right one. Well, how do you know what one is the right one? You look at what the payout is, that is the most important thing.
You look at the Offer, what you can offer to your prospects, and what the payout is. If it's a good affiliate program, then somewhere on the website you should find out how much money they have actually paid out to their affiliates. That's what I look for and it has worked for me.
Thank you,
