Reports directly to the Technical Director and is charged with developing and maintaining a system to assure that all products manufactured or purchased by the organization meet customer specifications, achieve superior quality and reliability levels.


Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Ohio

Experience: 5 to 9 years


Must Have:

-College degree required, BS Chemical Engineer, OR BS Mechanical Engineer with Chemistry knowledge.

-Three to five years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment that uses processes.

-Familiarity with MIL-SDS, ISO, and ANSI standards.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-Develops and maintains a supplier quality index, utilizing statistical control programs, to assure that only high-quality vendors are retained.

-Prepares for and represents the company during all SPEAR, SQA, and related audits.

-Develops and implements a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased
material and final products to quality standards.

-Revises and updates the quality control manual to incorporate statistical control programs.
