There are many tools you need to think about when Prospecting on the Internet:

1. Contact Manager - A great Online contact manager is imperative! An online contact manager means you can take your prospects with you anywhere you have web access.

2. Autoresponder - When you get many responses from your ads, you definitely need an Autoresponder to help you reply to everyone. A good autoresponder will respond immediately to your prospect, and let the person know you care. It will also generally give them information they can get started with.

3. E-mail drip campaigns - Very useful to get your message out consistently. You can set the frequency and the content of your messages. The message can be the same each time, or can change. It takes the average person 6 times to hear a message before they respond to it.

4. Video Prospecting - Helps you send and track videos to your prospects. It is very professional to actually send a video rather than straight text. You will get notified when the recipient watches the video. You will save time by contacting only the ones you see have actually watched the videos.

5. GotoWebinar (part of GotoMeeting) - This great tool will help you by allowing you to have online meetings with 1 to 1000 people at the same time. It is as if you are right there in the living room of your prospect, without physically being there. An awesome tool to help you keep in touch with your team members as well.

6. Tax Tracker - Helps you keep track of your tax deductions throughout the year. Plus you can see how much money you can keep in your paycheck just by having a business. The IRS allows business expenses for a home-based or small business as long as you have:

* A legitimate business
* Profitable intent
* Accurate Records

Tax trackers help with profitable intent and accurate records

7. Personal Development - Always keep up with your personal development. There are so many negative influences bombarding us every day, it is sometimes difficult to stay focused, positive, and motivated! Thanks for pointing out how these tools can help. I knew about them but had never thought about using them as I used to think they were of no relevance to me. Now I see how they can be used to great benefit. Thank you!

I'm new to the social networking and would be interested to know from the members, how time is it taking for your to be successful with your marketing online? I have a day job that is very demanding and I need to focus on things that will pay off in the long run. This article helps me very much, but the time management is still an issue with me.

The beginning of social/business networking is to greet and get to know a little about the person and/or start a conversation on a general topic. This can lead into exchanging contact information, meetings, and/or doing business together.
