Sponsors: Sta.rtUp.biz, 1707 Post Oak Blvd., Suite #129, Houston, Texas 77056(“Sponsor”).
Term: $250-$1000 Giveaway (“Giveaway”) begins on December 17, 2008 at 6:45 p.m. and continues with periodic giveaways as announced by Sponsor (“Term”).
Eligibility: Giveaway is open to Sta.rtUp.biz members who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Giveaway is paid in U.S. Dollars. Giveaway is subject to all local, state and federal laws and regulations, as applicable. By entering this Giveaway, all entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules, and to comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations, as applicable. If a person has more than one member profile on Sta.rtUp.biz, they are ineligible for the Giveaway.
How to Enter: Go to http://sta.rtup.biz/forum/topics/startupbiz-monthly-2501000 and follow the instructions on how to enter the Giveaway. All entries must be received before Sponsor decides, at its sole and absolute discretion, to award the Giveaway for that time period. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with the Official Rules, including eligibility requirements and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. Illegible or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. All entries and requests become the Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries.
Prize(s): At Sponsor’s choice and sole discretion, Sponsor will award between $250 and $1000, in either one prize, or up to 4 prizes. The total value of all prizing is $1,000 for a particular Giveaway. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded for a particular Giveaway.
Winner Selection: Potential winner(s) will be randomly selected at Sponsor’s discretion from among all eligible entries received throughout the Term. The Giveaway will be conducted by the Sponsor. Potential winner(s) will be contacted through their Sta.rtUp.biz email with a notifying email (“Notifying Email”). If the potential winner(s) do not respond within 72 hours from the sending of the Notifying Email (“Response Deadline”), the entire prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random choice from among all remaining eligible entries. After a potential winner responds by the Response Deadline to the Notifying Email, the potential winner will be contacted by phone at the phone number provided in their response email to the Notifying Email. Winners will be required to complete, execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release (where legal) within seven (7) calendar days of date of prize notification. In the event of non-compliance with this requirement or of prize notification, the Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner by random choice from among all remaining eligible entries. There will be three (3) alternates after which the prize will remain unawarded. Prizes are fulfilled 3-4 weeks after the conclusion of the Giveaway and after all required documentation is received in an acceptable form by Sponsor. All decisions of Sponsor are final. Sponsor reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to substitute any prize of equal or greater value.
