STOP RUNNING HELTER SKELTER - Internet Marketers, are breathless with all the running!

Entrepreneurs;

If you started your 1st quarter on 1 Jan then you are fast entering your 3rd month and your 1st quarter is winding down

Many really kick started on 1Feb, so you are into your second month. At this point it doesn't matter when you started, what's key is where you are going!

TODAY'S TOP 3 TIPS

1) If you feel you are being tugged in 15 different directions right now you probably are. So spend 20 minutes today & organize you month. This will allow you to regain your sanity and put some direction in your business. Many marketers feel that the gurus who make a truckload of money are doing this all by themselves. You couldn't be further from the truth. Most have people helping them to do all the back linking and posting and social media stuff etc etc. So don't beat yourself up too much!

2) Marketers are running in so many directions because of the stampede of products, systems, new launches etc etc. You have to learn to quiet the noise, and question yourself - what skills do I focus on for this month? So given that you are doing your marketing alone, because you haven't hired anyone to do any of it for you as yet, it is critical that you operate with a clear head and not a foggy, cloudy strategy. Not to mention the giddiness from all the surfing and reading and chasing on the internet!

3) No one can learn all the skills there are to market, not in 3 months, not in 3 years! The secret is? Choose 2 skills this month, and work on mastering! FACT: 95% of marketers do not do that! But run helter skelter in search of the next best thing! Stop the running. Focus. What are you planning to achieve this month? That is the bigger question, rather than how come they are making all this money and I'm not???? Run, run, run! Spend, buy stuff, buy some more stuff! Not using the previous stuff! Heck, running out of cash! Heeeeeeeelp! This ****!!!! is not working!!

PS: You are the next best thing! Settle down and sharpen your marketing skills and your business WILL EXPLODE!

I agree that time management is important. I have noticed that I keep putting my Internet marketing on the back burner for months because I am not scheduling my day as efficiently as it needs to be. I agree that it easy to get loss in this endeavor because there are so many things that I am doing for my business and family. I am just beginning to find the 20 or 30 minutes to plan my week instead of just reacting to it. I just need to get better at it.

Hi Nadira,

You have really told it the way it is for all new marketers!

I definitely need to take 20 minutes to organize my month.
No... make that a full hour!

thanks so much for the tips
Beth

Jacqui and Denny, I think this is becoming a bigger problem daily. As the internet grows and activity expands, more people are spending less time on revenue producing activities and this phenomenon is hampering their growth and profitability.

We have to get back sometimes to the basics. A lot can change around us and the market place is constantly evolving BUT we still and will always have only 24 hours per day! It is probably the only constant in this big equation of business and profits. Entrepreneurs absolutely need to address this aspect of their business seriously!
Let's giddy up!

Hey Nadira,
Too many people run around doing all the things that just does not pay them. The day, then the week and finally the month is lost with no results. I have been working with my team on time management. They now take 20 minutes at start of the day to map their day out and record their events throughout the day. At the end of the day they record their results. This allows them to track their time and map for improvements. To take control of your time is to take back control of your life. Time and health are the two most important things to keep. Lose either and you are lost.
Love Your Article,
Denny (Tazy)
